  • You have a really great head shape, so bald did not look bad on you...you look pretty great either way.

  • Pretty with or without hair.

  • Your vid helped me thru one of the darkest periods of my life. I had undergone 4 months of chemotherapy & was about to undergo radiation. My hair, eyebrows & lashes were gone. Your video gave me a time frame for the stages of expected regrowth. It gave me the ability to face the weeks & months ahead with knowledge & courage. I hope you are now in the best of health. Thank You.

  • i have hope and love for your breast cancer to be gone

  • CONT....I am so excited about my hair growing back...although I have gotten used to it, so I decided to see if there were any vids on here b/c Ive heard my hair may come back a diff color, texture, or curly. :) So thank you for sharing the video. I love it! So happy your doing well, that is Super!!! Take Care!

  • Awesome! Yes you are beautiful as someone above said. I just finished my last round of 6 chemo treatments 2 1/2 weeks ago. I had a treatment every 3 weeks for breast cancer (ILC) as well. I had surgery half way through chemo and will start radiation this week or next. CONT.....

  • Thanks for that I'm 18 starting college and I had my last chemo october 31

  • Thanks for making this video

I'm 14 and had my last chemotherapy treatment a few days ago

And I could find nothing about how long does it take till ur hair grows.

can't wait for it to grow I'm sick of wearing a wig -.- :)

  • Hi, thanks heaps for this video.

I'm 20 years old and I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in June.

I finished chemo 2 days ago and can't really find a lot about hair growing back.

Can't wait till I get to that 'no hat' stage!! :)

  • omg thats a beutiful hair!!! :O

  • Thank s a million Angie! going thru it. ;)

  • Hey ms.Harris!! it s olivia and Kirby!! we saw ur video and WOW!!

  • Thank you so much for this! :) I'm a 19 year old boy who got testicular cancer this summer, and it spread to my lungs. At first it was enough with surgery for the testicular cancer, but because it spread to my lungs I had to go through a total of 20 days of chemo spread over 2 months. I lost all my hair and this was a question i had that no one really seemed to have a good answer for, and no wi do kind of so thank you! I am healthy now. cancer free, finished my last chemo session last week :D

  • Your beautiful! This video made me smile :) Im 16 and I have osteosarcoma which is bone cancer. Im still doing chemo, but i only have 5 more treatment to go! And I cannot wait for my hair to come back, i wear nothing but colorful beanies to match my outfits but i just wanna go out like a normal teen without it. My hair tries to grow out every chance it gets but it always ends up falling out when i go back in for more chemo. But, it'll come soon! So happy to hear your a survivor! God Bless!

  • The smile at 1.31.....wondeful.

My father has hair loss due to his chemo.....what a shock but as I have told him the same person still lives underneath (and he is hoping it grows back curly)

I hope the world finds you in better health now Angi !

  • Wow I am so exited for you!! I can't wait for my dad to grow his hair. I have faith he will beat this too.

  • I just wanted to say, that I hope u never get cancer back.I pray u will be ok. :)

  • Is your hair long now?

  • Thank you!!!

  • Thank you for sharing. It's been 7 weeks today since my last chemo treatment. I have some baby chick hair:) It's soft and cute but I can't wait for a few more weeks to pass and see some real hair. It's a waiting game. I hope you're doing well, are healthy and love your life.

  • Thanks so much for the video. I lost everything including eyebrows and lashes. It's now been 8 weeks since my chemo, 6 since surgery and start 35 radiation sessions in two days. Hair seemed to be growing so slow, but watching your video, I realize that I'm right on track and feeling good about this scraggly gray curly hair that is taking over my head...but hair is hair, and I'm thrilled! Growing on the side, slow on top, and one side growing more than the other. But I love it. THANKS!

  • U R BU. DNT LE ANYONE TELL U OTHER WISE I LUV YOUR DETEMINATION!!!

  • Took me 6 weeks too, Now it grows 2x the speed it used to. Thats the only thing I miss about chemo is not shaving lol. Hang in there and be strong!!!!

  • To soulwinnersim.......

Please consider changing your outlook for your wife's sake. Her beauty certainly goes deeper than her outward appearance?? I fear she will pick up on your criticism and have yet another thing to worry about. Your focus should be on the health that chemo will bring her, and not the temporary hair loss she will experience. Assure her she is beautiful bald or not. She needs your support right now, not your judgement. Please do not put her through that. she deserves that.

  • Thanks for sharing this part of your journey! I'm still in treatment for my very aggressive stage 1 breast cancer -- even thought the chemo made the lump seemingly disappear, and then lumpectomy took out where it used to be, they still want me to do 6 weeks of rad, and 9 more months of herceptin, and 5 years of tamoxifen (sp?), all to keep it from coming back. I am enjoying my hair coming back, and since I didn't like the salt and pepper look -- I died it purple, so now it's purple and pepper!

  • You are so beautiful!

Your eyes are the prettiest things I've seen in a long, long time :) <3<3

  • I think i watched this video everyday sometimes twice a day while waiting on my hair to grow back! it seemed to take a while but once it started you could see the difference almost daily - I was able to ditch my wig about 2 weeks after it started to grow!! I finally had my first hair cut last night so fingers crossed this will kick start a growing frenzy! Thank you so much for this video it certainly gave me hope while waiting for what seemed like forever!!

  • Thank you for your video, I am just growing my hair back and was wondering how long it would take? you made me cry, that is exactly how I look my hair is only 1/4 inch long. From another survivor to another. You are beautiful and you made me feel the same way. <3

  • Thank you for your video, I am just growing my hair back and was wondering how long it would take? you made me cry, that is exactly how I look my hair is only 1/4 inch long. From another survivor to another. You are beautiful and you made me feel the same way. <3<3

    Thanks again

  • hi angie, thank you for your journal. i'm about to finish my last treatment out of 16 in 4 days. i'm so excited to finally be done, but ready for my hair to come back.i was wondering what type of chemotherapy drugs were you given? just curious. i'm hoping my hair grows back as fast as yours! :)

  • Thank you Angie. I'm not far off burning the wig now! You are amazing ..

  • Thanks for sharing! My 2 sisters both have breast cancer the latest one just started loosing her hair yesterday! :( Your video gives us hope! Thank you!

  • Your video was inspiring! Very well done with clear video/photo's and lighthearted uplifting music.Thank you for posting this. God Bless you and your indomitable spirit. :)

  • THANKYOU THANKYOU!! I am about 6 weeks done with chemo & it's nice to see another woman dealing with the whole hair loss thing!

  • hey! im about a month out of chemo and still bald! about to go do radiation( i have hodgkins lymphoma). i love your video, very inspiring. Cant wait to get hair like that!:D hope your doing well and thank you for the great vid.

  • @MrSkoal91 i had hodgkins lymphoma too, I just finished my chemo in the end of october.. and my hair is really short still it starting growing not so long ago and plus it's growing super slow. I hope you feel better and the radiation goes well, I recommend biotin it's a vitamin for hair growth and healthy skin and nails, the dermatalogist recommended it to me

  • Been there and done that and remembers the first time I heard I would lose my hair that I cried back in 2008 but when I was done of chemo the hair came back darker, thicker and lots of curls that are called chemo curls and I loved them. My hair is gone again as the breast cancer spread to my lungs I have one more chemo to do on Jan 12th-2011 and my hair has already started to grow I tell everyone I am a chia plant..lol..with little fine hair growing.Cannot wait for the curls again.

  • This was great!!! Just finished my last day of chemo today!!! I am so excited for the upcoming hair growth!

  • You look great and I hope you continue to do well. Your video helped me a lot. I did several rounds of AmBisome, an antifungal drug that saved my life, but has some vicious side effects. I was fortunate to come away with no long-term damage, but it sure did a number on my formerly thick, pretty hair. It's nice to think that it'll probably come back. I have a lot of facial reconstruction ahead of me from my illness, and I look forward to looking like myself again. May God bless everyone.

  • You are so brave!

  • you are really pretty! your features are so soft and feminine, im jealous ;)

  • Your video moved me to tears, happy ones! I am 28 and have finished 4 of 6 rounds of chemo. No problems except hair loss and fatigue. It's moving to see your visuals. I have a great family, fiancee, and my laughter and faith have been my soft place through this journey. May God continue to bless us all. I pray for us everyday. Love you!

  • brave and beautiful !!! what can i say more yeah pure beautiful with or without hair ! i like your eyes and their bows ;)

  • God bless.

    What chemotherapy did you have?

  • Wait, this was all only through a 2 month period?? That makes me feel quite a bit better! I'm 15 and I just finished chemo on Friday (YAY!) and as I was watching this video I was thinking it was over a 6 month period or so, until I read the description! I can't wait to get my hair back!!!!
