I am gay, and I don't want to live under a Conservative Party - which, has openly said, that gay rights issues, will be reconsidered!!! This is just dreadful!
@pause4thought As far as I can see if Conservatives win that means we have a majority of people in this country that are: Racist, homophobic, selfish and ignorant. I certainly won't be staying here if that's the case.
Look at what Labour has achieved in the past 10 years compared to what the Conservatives have achieved in the past 100 years-the difference is huge, and may even convince you to vote Labour.
This video, and the comments below it, paint a picture of the British political scene which is entirely black and white. I personally believe that it is more nuanced than that and right now, the negative baggage of 13 years of Labour Government has added up. I will be voting for change at the next election so Labour can re-group without Gordon Brown.
That's why I am a left-winged person, that's why I am social democrat. I believe that in the history only the workers-class could force to transform conventional and unfair things in the society into a modern, progressive one.
I hope that the left can regain its power in order to continue the fight against the injustice every terms of life!
He may pretend to have our interests at heart, but the facts are clear. He wants to scrap the legal guarantee that gives us four weeks paid holiday, the right to be consulted about changes at work and our entitlement to parental leave - denying the legal right for parents to spend time with their newborn babies in the critical first few weeks. That's just three examples - but Cameron's threatening dozens more of your rights.
VOTE FOR; -1/3 down on Crime -Highest education results ever -Minimum Wage -Gurantee of seeing a cancer specialist in 2 weeks -D&D act -Equality Don't destroy what has been achieved Don't destroy what can be acheived Don't destroy what will be achieved Don't destroy what we can achieve VOTE LEFT VOTE LABOUR
I know loads of young people down in the south who would never vote Tory but always end up wasting their vote on Libdems, Greens or not voting at all! The key is to encourage them to vote Labour to keep open minded Britain alive
People forget it was Labour who created the Open University, UK Film Council, NHS, Minimum Wage, and Civl Partnerships etc etc
Fantastic. Very moving, and highlights the good things Labour has done in our country and how it is possible to change/influence the future. For any of us to change the future.
comrades, even if we lose this election we have to note that the conservatives have maximised their support.
Anyone who would ever vote tory, is going to vote tory, and they have barely an 80 seat majority!
They can never again have a landslide government, the real legacy of this party is that we are no longer a right wing nation that occasionally elects socialists, we are a socialist nation that occasionally elects conservatives!
This is the sort of positivity the Labour party should exude.
Labour is about hope and fairness, progression and innovation. If the party is to succeed, it must contine to innovate and project a positive, innovative yet fair image to the voters.
We must not fall into the trap of John Major in 1997; we must not become stale.
This was just too sophisticated and touching that this should have not gone on for a Queen's speech but should have been saved for an election broadcast.
This video still inspires me so much even now! In fact especially now!!

It may have been the greatest Prime Minister of our World since Winston Churchill who gave Britain FOIA...
But it took an American lady from Washington State to save the British Parliamentary System?
I guess that's an inconveinent truth?
