Professor makes so many corrections and rough work on lecture sheet that the pattikular section stayed hidden and missed all the interest of the viewers.
ya i agree with you !this man don't have a slightest idea how hydraulic valves are operating.Indian colleges are good theorically but most lectures lacks practical knowledge.
@samgee2007 YEah rarely professors teach us anything in engineering college we do it by own with the help of books or frequently we learn it in classes.
man this guy got really confused with the pilot operated relief valve and he finaly explained it wrong haha, the valve has 3 ports not 4!!! so the moment when he hesitated was actualy right, both right and left ports are same (inlets), beside, when applying pressure to the pilot you're actulay shutting the relief valve NOT opening it as explained. so simply if you want to open the valve you must overpower EITHER the pilot pressure OR spring. other than that, great videos and thanx for posting =)

I think the drawing of that pilot operated valve is wrong. thats the reason he's getting confused.
