  • at 0:09 to about 0:11 what is he doing (somekind of pull off i know) but can someone please write me a semi detailed description of it...

    please...

  • Santana...

  • @Niggatome ...covered this song? What's your point?

  • got most of the notes but doesn't have the nuanced feel tone has stomp box overdrive instead of tubes

  • Its all in the heart and musicality of the player. You can play the same notes at the same time but still never be the same as the originator. Its not possible. But its great to try!

  • this fella is like a white santana

  • i reckon a lot of us would seriously love it if you got michael to do WORLD KEEPS ON TURNING, the EXACT live version at the boston tea party, you could put it on your website and sell it as a single lesson, i'd buy it. c'mon lick library! PLEASE!!!

  • Spot on cover, whats great about Peter is that he only used that one pattern and it still sounds more tasteful and soulful then todays guitar players, sad really..

  • 0:27 HOW do you get that sound?!

  • Noice!

  • yay les paul <3

  • that's the slash signature ? right ?

  • @andreisubtzi no, Slash's LP has Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro's (Zebra's) in them

  • @ASFM11 But this guitar still has the vintage tune knobs and fret markers....

  • f you get a comment on your videos with these sort of things below then you are getting SPAMMED by the - Marty Schwartz Guitar Lesson SCAM

    =P ^^

    :D

    D;

Noticed the new guitar lesson videos posted by "Marty Scwartz" they are loaded with FAKE COMMENT using them

You see you will get more videos views coming up next to Guitar videos that people actually WANT TO SEE using this SCAM

Do you really think Marty is more popular than Eric Clapton - Ozzy Osbourne - True Fire TV ,Expert Village

  • how can u dislike this!wtf

  • I always thought this was from Santana i prefer the santana version though

  • is that an appetite for destruction model guitar?

  • Niiiiiiiice Les Pau man, I love the finish.

  • Awesome !!

  • now i wanna kno why when they do slash's shit they use that other guitar?????

  • that reverb sounds magical

  • Santana is Better!!!!!!!!

  • @AFIROCK100 Thats a matter of taste, some days I prefer the Fleetwood Mac version and somedays I prefer the Santana version...

  • 94 flametop? have a look at a boneyard ( Joe Perry) - Flawless playing though.

  • It's probably not a slash sig, it probably a 59 reissue ;)

  • Gibson AFD :D

  • @RockingDeN Yea at first glance it looks like afd Les paul , but on the afd model the pickups are diff :)

  • nice work!

  • just got this DVD and I think it is excellent. The tutor seems to have really studied the songs and the lessons cover everything. Highly recommended.

  • Thanks for Peter's version. Lol you earlier comment., ;)

  • slash sig?

  • this is a jam session, not even close to Santana

  • @guitarbob58 the song is not even by santana, he just covered it

  • it looks so much with slash's appetite for destruction guitar

  • what pedal do you use and it sounds like that?

  • @Jorgeconio1 ..... But Peter Green, who wrote this song, and this solo, played a Les Paul!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @licklibrary ... he also played a Strat'.

  • pretty nice Guitar !!! xD

  • Santana doesn't use a Les Paul lol, he uses a PRS. Still a good cover.

  • @jorgeconio1 santana actually used a les paul special on the album version, but that was in the 70's, he started using prs guitars in the 80's

  • I want tab for this unique solo ... please somebody help :)

  • @nerron87 buy the movie? thats why this is here

  • Michaels guitar here is his 94 flametop standard in amber. Hey says it's the lightest weight he could find .

  • Michaels guitar here is a 94 flametop standard in amber. He tells us it's the lightest weight Les Paul he could find.

  • omg what kind of les paul is this?! its beautiful and sounds spectacular

  • is that the slash afd guitar?

  • omg...is this an APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION Slash Les Paul??

  • @6378962ROCK no, pickups are different

  • It seems like old guitar well cared, sound is amazing

  • is that a les paul elegant??

  • @jakerulezzzz i think its a les paul classic

  • nop its an elegant

  • yes.

  • I absolutely love this teacher's sound and skill... didn't you do Jeff Beck too ? I've got that DVD.

  • @dewaal123 two of my favorite guitarists

  • Fleetwood Mac played this song way back in the day...this guy has all the notes right, he has all the effects going but is it just me or does it lack the feeling and passion that make the song so great in the first place? The emotion is everything man!

  • @vaibanez17 this is just to learn how to play the right notes, you add the emotion.

  • hi vaibanez, yes, I'll agree there's something missing in the 'performance' but this is down to context - put this guy into a live situ and I'm sure he'll sound pretty emotive and in the spirit of it. That helps a great deal, as I'm sure you know...

  • @vaibanez17 It's just you.

  • @vaibanez17: Man, Peter Green was a GOD. No one can play with such level of emotions just by coping the exact notes of the solo.

Greens music == his personality. That's what makes his music so sincere and moving.

  • Were did u get that guitar????

  • I just love the way mike plays, superb!

  • Santana covered this. Fleedwood Mac I thought.

  • Comment removed

  • Peter Green wrote the song when he was still in Fleetwood Mac back in 1968, and it was covered two years later in 1970 by Santana with a different arrangement. Most people assume Carlos wrote it because it's the better known version of the song, but it's definitely a Peter Green composition..

  • You are absolutely correct about that sir and I thank you for correcting me. You are also correct in saying most people assume Carlos wrote it, as he was most formidable in making it a famous song, as did I. Many thanks!

  • peter greens version is better santana is crap

  • santana is awesome he is just a different style.

  • get your ears checked.

  • People need to realise that it was by Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac so people can be introduced to the greats again. (Can you make a lesson because everyone does the Santana version in lessons).

  • @wonekawa

  • 1st I thought this was Santana.

  • @BrucePetty santana's black magic woman is a cover -.-

  • @oooledzeppelinooo Oh I always thought the Santana version was the original!
