Its all in the heart and musicality of the player. You can play the same notes at the same time but still never be the same as the originator. Its not possible. But its great to try!

Santana doesn't use a Les Paul lol, he uses a PRS. Still a good cover.

Fleetwood Mac played this song way back in the day...this guy has all the notes right, he has all the effects going but is it just me or does it lack the feeling and passion that make the song so great in the first place? The emotion is everything man!

hi vaibanez, yes, I'll agree there's something missing in the 'performance' but this is down to context - put this guy into a live situ and I'm sure he'll sound pretty emotive and in the spirit of it. That helps a great deal, as I'm sure you know...

Peter Green wrote the song when he was still in Fleetwood Mac back in 1968, and it was covered two years later in 1970 by Santana with a different arrangement. Most people assume Carlos wrote it because it's the better known version of the song, but it's definitely a Peter Green composition..
