ha ha I love it. When my sheltie was 3mths. old at my son's B-Day party she herded 6, 4yr. old boys into the back corner of our backyard. It was soo funny she wouldn't let any of the boys leave her circle. The boys finally called for help. And we got the dog away from them. But all afternoon she kept trying to herd the boys.
I have a ten year old collie I rescued 10 months ago. She used to herd sheep on a farm and has a huge herding instinct. She will not play with a ball or stick but will herd a ball by intensely watching it. She would "eye" a ball for hours, she also likes to herd kids and anything fast moving. Lovely video BTW.
@MsLabMom Clearly you have nothing better to do with your time than to spam videos. Why not go outside and spend some time with your dog doing something productive and healthy?
@MsLabMom if you have any IQ at all, you'll notice that Shelties are one of the most elegant and beautiful breeds in the world. The breed you're referring to should be a poodle, they are the ugliest ones

There is a cool sport called Treibball that has dogs herd balls. Pretty cute!
