I just don't get why people glorify MACs, sure they are fast since they are a remote version of UNIX, but in reality you have far more capabilities in a "Windows OS" and a "Linux" distribution than you can on a Mac OS, am talking OS's here, not HARDWARE. But when it comes down to hardware support, such as Blu-ray Playback, 3D movies and games, wireless connection to your TV and other handy things that don't hurt to have, you will end up going with a Windows OS. I use both Windows and Ubuntu

I'll say this.. I got my MBP last week, and my $600 PC hasn't been touched since. BootCamp is on my Mac for games, and that's it. I literally have no need for Windows for any sort of vital function anymore.

I have used Windows for over 15 years and Mac for over 2 years and I have a Vista desktop and a Mac Laptop which can run Windows XP natively and as an emulation. I can objectively say that Mac definitely is better than Windows.

@duudegetamac trust me i've had 5 years experience to prove that macs suck. first year, i find all the games i used to play on my pc are worthless. year two we find the mac has a faulty hard drive and have to pay an extra £90 to get it replaced, years 3 and 4, a roller coaster of breaking applications and internet failings. finally year 4-5 my comp has started getting columns of dead pixels.
