agggg someone sell me on gnome,, because between this novel but less appealing string of c code and Nokia's highly evolved c++ kde4; I'll take kde4... I think c makes sense but not the way the gnome team does it, they just annoy the hell out of me, why they don't make something useful, I don't know... gnome should seriously break apart and programmers should go to Nokia or fluxbox (no offense to xfce)

but also I'm not one to tell people how to compile their life...

im using the beta and its working fairly well using the nvidia drivers, auto recognized them and asked me to unrestrict

Aye. I had some problem with my nvidia drivers. But I just reinstalled the latest drivers via Synaptic and unrestricted them. Works like a clock.
