  • Great stuff, though you might have improved even further by mic-ing the bass up more, it's such a great bassline

  • Cheers, Its a great funky bassline isnt it. I could Bring the bass up in the mix, but didnt want to overdo too much as it is pretty much flat EQ. Plus it was saved from a WAV file into an MP3 so does lose a tiny bit when compressed of top and bottom.

  • Yes Beyer DT's. Good for recording mic, Guitar or Drums as they are closed and have no overspill. They also provide a realistic response so no extra equalisation, when you come to mix it, you will get the same response and not compensate for it.
