@gc200exe mmm... the D10 smoothes out everything and gives a warmth to the music. I have the Ibasso T3 which has 3 different setting for gain. How much are you willing to spend? I hear the Headstage 12 2g is good for bass boost but it's only sold from their site.

@idiiidit Ya if you got it straight from their site it comes from china. And fedex and u[s I have heard give a bit of problems due to taxes of bringing the item into the states. Just be patient. Its a great amp! enjoy it when you get it bro!

hey bro, got a quick question. i got my ibasso d10 today and i got a iphone. now its saying that my iphone is not compatible with the so called " accessory ". Any ideas what could be causing this? If i crank the volume on the ibasso i hear a feint sound from the music im playing on the 3GS.

@k3rgr4 hmmm... im not familir with that kind of info but you can try getting on to the site head-fi.org and there are many ppl on there who make mods for earphones and amps. Good luck with that! =)

hey, Im just using my macbook g4. Nothing special. But yes there is a large difference with the D10 than without it. Sounds a lot better. I also use the headphones with my iphone which has a better sound card.

Yeah but unfortunately I can't afford it right now lol. I was giving a look at the P-51 Mustang and iQube. Good reviews I read on the Mustang, so leaning toward it. How is the iBasso?

after doing some research on the D10 I found its price and description to my liking. Unfortunately, only after about a month after purchasing it, it wasn't charging properly. I sent it back to ibasso and they didn't want to accept it due to shipping fees. They wanted me to pay for it and I didn't have the money to do so. So I had to contact the shipper and have them destroy the package. Now Im amp less. Im just using my iphone for the moment..

oh ya definitely! I hear the zune has a pretty good sound card and a computer should be good also. after your 100 hrs of burn in they open up more than how they come.  =D

y i heard the cobra is good. I have a friend in NY who said its good and he had it with a ultrazone HFI-780. I wanted to get that but settled for the SRH-840. Ya the SRH-840 is suppose to have the sound signature as the 530s but in cans. I don't know that for a fact...lol I've never heard the 530's. Ibassi came out with new amps ment for travel. Not to bad lookin w/bass boost if your lookin for that.

Have you tried the SRH 440's before? I have them and I feel like they should have more bass...I could get a DAC for it or exchange to these.

Ok, I know nothing about headphone amplifiers. Do your iBasso amp just give more volume or does it give also a better sound quality? I am using the Shure SRH440 with a Sony A726 MP3 player and the volume I can reach is very loud for me. Do you think I can have a better sound quality with a iBasso amplifier?

the amp will make a huge difference as to what the headphones you are using. The amp will help the headphone sing the amp/dac will most definitely help with better sound quality =)

its a Sansa clip. A friend of mine said it has better sound quality but I think he was just referring to it being able to play with the equalizer. other than that it won't play any music played off of itunes (mp4)

Got it, that's the one thing missing from the Ipod, a manual EQ, then it would be close to perfect.

Yup. IMO I like the ipod but hate the fact that the music bought from itunes is only meant for the ipod especially when its protected. I know b4 you had the choice to have it protected or not. I had mine protected so it wouldn't play on anyone else's mp3's but idk if I can change it now.... that way it can play on the sansa...ill get back to you on that...

That sucks...I contact iBasso on their site and asked about ordering it to my country which is not on the list and they said we can make arrangement... The payment is 33USD to Bosnia.. Is there much possibility that i experience same or simillar problem like you?

I would hope that you wouldn't have the same problem that I had but so far I haven't heard of anyone who has run into the same problem. I think this was just a misunderstanding. But all in all its a great product for its price. Go for it =)

It wasn't charging properly. It has a charge protector so if your charging it you can leave it then it will stop charging when its full. But I left it charging for 3 whole days and the charge didn't turn off. So I tested it to see how much charge it had..it would only last for about 5 mins then shut off. So I notified iBasso about it and thats when all the crap started...

well since im from hawaii... it costed about 75 bucks JUST to ship it to china. Keep in mind before I sent the d10 I asked ibasso for what info I needed to put on my product. They just replied "this address.." So.. I sent it to that address and notified them by email that I sent it with the tracking #. They replied "oh I hope you put low value or repair on the description" I replied...no one told me that I needed to put that...when the package got there... there was taxes for them to pay...

the taxes was about $100 USD and ibasso replied to me that they were not going to pay it that I needed to pay the $100. Since i didn't have the money and ibasso wasn't going to fix a bad d10 they sent to me... Fedex had no choice but to destryo the package... leaving me having paid about 300 275 for the d10 and 75 for the shipping and no d10... Im pissed @ ibasso...and asked for my money back since they wouldn't help...

Their site. Thats the only place I could find that sells it. But I ran into a problem with it. Sent it back with fedex and ibasso wouldn't except it because of a fee from fedex. They sent it back to me and asked that I pay the money. I didn't have the money to it got destroyed.... now I don't have it anymore...

yup the optical cable in the vid is what it comes with. Its a good amp/dac. And Im using it with my macbook aswell. Hope that answered your question. good luck!

I'm a bit confused with your replies. Does the optical cable that comes with the d10 have a mini-toslink on one end? or do you need to buy a separate adapter/cable? I would want to connect my macbook pro to the d10 using the optical cable.

oh im sorry. I thought you just had the "macbook" which is what I have. But you have the "macbook pro". They have different specs. It does come with an optical cable. the white one in the video. It has blue heads with a white cord body. Its in the package Im showing.

The optical cable doesn't fit on my macbook. The optical cable that comes with the amp is used for The macbook pro actually uses the headphone jack with DAC. So your macbook pro is superior to my macbook. =) Ill send you a PM with the link on the ibasso home site. Um the part where I point to the back of the amp, your mac pro doesn't have a jack for that. It runs through the headphone jack which is what you asked me before. The black wire can be used the same what on your headphone jack

If the optical cable doesn't fit into your macbook headphone socket it won't plug into mine either. That's cool though, I'll just buy an adapter from amazon.

np. If your looking for a good amp/mp3 player too the hifiman is sopose to blow away any portable amp up to date. Im just not to found of the price of it and the battery life on it. you should check it out. =)

Does the d10 come with an optical cable that you can plug into the macbook headphone socket? I'm looking to buy one of these amps and want to know if I have to buy another cable for it.

oh i m sorry. The black wire with the headphone jack on each side will plug into the AUX in/out. It isn't going to be using the DAC at that point. It will only use it with the USB plugin (which I failed to mention in the review, It comes with it too) or a coaxial wire which it doesn't come with. So the USB plug will use the DAC for better sound. Other than that the regular AUX in/out wire will just amplify the sound.
