I remember playing this in all south jersey hs band back in '63. Albertus L Myers was conductor, I played bari sax. Thanks for bringing back the memory. Great show!

Wow, awesome! I'm from Southern New Jersey as well (graduated from Bridgeton High School in Cumberland County as class of 2007).

The Cumberland County College band actually does this song as a regular in our performances... one of our standard pieces.

It's good to hear the experiences of others playing the same songs as I play when I'm in a band, especially someone who performed so close to where I am.

Rykua, I seem to remember the 1st chair trombonist at all sj concert band was from Bridgeton HS that year. We had a few from your school that year. I represented Edgewood Regional HS, it's called Winslow Twnsp High now. Graduated in '68. I'm still playing sax, too late to quit now! Great to hear your experiences, and good luck at school!
