  • what amp was used in this video?

  • Really like it. Was set up perfectly when I received it. The Bigsby stays in tune quite nicely. FIt and finish were great. I've got 22 guitars, and this one is up there. I've got some high enders like GIbson custom, Duesenberg, but this is every bit as playable. Put it this way - I don't sound any better on a more expensive guitar. Think I paid $600-700 or so for my Prestige Heritage. A similar priced guitar I really like is the Hagstrom Swede.

  • I agree with SlashRuelz590 and also if you have heard a les paul that sounds way different. The headstick is different and the body is more egg shaped. So shut it.

  • spacer3001 if you were listening and if you knew two shits about how les pauls look compared to other companies you would see that the cutaway is completely different so is the body shape, also the headstock is completely different from that of a Gibson and Paul also said it was very light how about you go pick up a les standard and see how light it is.

  • i like this guitar!! nice skills from paul.

  • awesome guitar!!!

  • ah,another les paul

  • freaking great riffs. goodness.

  • @DMR90Guitar my thoughts exactly, id love for guitarworld to post some of the riffs they use to review gear

  • Thanks Paul....another great demo ! I would like to see you demo this against one of the new Jarrett Guitars. Same features and quality, but I betcha the Jarrett will blow away the Heritage, tone and price-wise !

  • @live2rock4u

Jarrett guitars look like they are well made, and probably have great components, but are US made and therefore will be way more expensive than these Heritage guitars. It's obvious on the Jarret website that these are double the price. Additionally they have a squat rotund shape which is less attractive than the conventional LP look, and despite the nice finishes, this shape will doom the company to low sales.

  • @HiredGoonage this is a prestige, not heritage. 2 different companies.

  • @lukatme2 oh hey man, sorry I know. But Prestige guitars makes a model known as the Heritage, which is the one I've got - I should have clarified that.

  • @HiredGoonage how well do you like it? I am really thinking on getting one because of the price and I keep hearing they are really good?

  • Damn les paul knock offs. these companies shouldn't call it "The Classic' or some other bs name call it a Les Paul copy.

  • @spacer3001

its called a copyright, look into it.

  • NICE Guitar!!

You Are a Amazing Guitar Player!!

  • sounds lovely and bright, id have this over an lp,how much??

  • sound great and its a bueatiful guitar

  • i dont really watch these videos for the guitars any more :s his playing is just brilliant

well maybe i watched that one for the schecter hellraiser solo 6 but i wanna get that one anyway xD

  • Man that guy is rocking that guitar!

  • Comment removed

  • looks like a Greg Bennett.

  • I thought the same!

  • Who's Greg Bennett? Curious...

  • To the people arguing on the whole Les Paul shape and all.

It is like you people have no history about guitars at all.

A guitar as other string instruments is an instrument that has a symmetrical shape. Les Paul resembles a classic guitar but smaller because you don't need a hollow body for the sound to reverb back out.

    It is a classic shape.

You forgot all the damn Flying Vs, any BC Rich guitar, many Dean and Ibanez guitars look nothing like a Les Paul or a Strat.

  • 0:22 please repair that cable or get another test guitar...

It does sound quite nice but I'd like to check out one of this versus that new line of PSR... live.

  • prs you mean right?

  • can you say lawsuit?

  • he knows classic rock! and generally his playing is cool

  • great review and playin as always thx paul

  • @guitarplayer7133 Yea..actually.

  • its funny how all guitars are shaped out of les paul or stratocasters :p

  • @rockpwnsu some like this are almost plain rip offs, haha

  • I see these guitars as inexpensive substitutes (even improvements) to the original models. For the most part the sound quality comes from the player, so why pay so much money for an instrument (i.e 4000$ for a gibson les paul)?

  • lol, im not even going to try to explain it to you.

  • @rockpwnsu That's how the game is played. To break into the business, guitar manufactures often have to imitate Fenders and Gibsons to some degree, whether the body shape, or the pick up design. I'm guessing that's why there aren't many lawsuits for copying designs anymore. Everybody is in on copying.

  • @bluenote71

Well, even if those manufacturers imitate the les paul, SG, Strat or Tele designs. Those guitars other manufacturers make wont sound like them, so what's the matters anyway

  • Lol Ay man you make a guitar's body to be comfortable for the player, and those two shapes are extremely comfortable =]

  • it hasnt processed yet.

  • Poor quality of video but awesome guitar quality !!!

  • The video quality gets better maybe after maybe 30minutes after the video is uploaded - this is so the video can be released quicker or something.
