  • Incubus are not sell-outs. You are NOT a fucking Incubus fan if you think that. If you had any idea about the personalities of the members you'd know they would never "sell-out". They even said they wanted to make a poppy sounding and mature album.

  • Thanks for all of your music Incubus.

  • Too bad they don't sound like this anymore. This is a response to the sellout question. True, bands and people evolve. It seems they more evolved to please the masses rather than their loyal fans. Believe me, if I started listening to Incubus when A Crow Left Of The Murder came out, I wouldn't have went to see them in concert over 30 times.

  • This is not a new song. But a GREAT song all the same! Hear the words. Feel the music. Be lost and found ALL AT ONCE! Long livin it... Incubus willl forever be progressive in style and evolution. And now, not me nor Incubus, can go back because now we know.

  • Bad ass like most of their songs

  • I don't care how old this band is, but I still fuckin' love them!!!

  • if you miss THIS incubus, thumbs up for this comment!

  • I really liked A Crow Left or the Murder.

  • Scream 3 OST <3 <3

  • for me its about wanting to tell someone the truth and be real, but hes nervous, like being in a crowded elevator, he couldnt think of what to say but now its too late even though hes over it and the elevator stopped.

  • do they still sell wiav1? i have this along with many singles, lots of them hard to find nowadays. obsessed fan here!

  • This song is so brilliant i've been in love with these lyrics for so long its sad.

  • Often, people see that I listen to almost all incubus. They ask me, "Don't you like more than one type of music?" I say, "Yeah. Incubus just happens to play all the types I like."

  • actually they've been together more than 12 years. they started incubus when they were teenagers.

  • This song would have a good home on Make Yourself, it's a shame it wasn't put on the album.

  • @Pizzinator13 It was put on the imported version. Only in America though it seems :(

  • @Pizzinator13 they wouldn't even have to replace any songs, just add this one, would have only further solidified make yourself as the greatest incubus album

  • @Pizzinator13 It was a perfect fit; would rather had this than Consequence, for instance

  • i first listened to this song on the Scream 3 soundtrack which in fact turned me onto lots of heavy music includin : finger eleven, system of a down and staind thanks for the download

  • the way he says "red" makes me shiver.

  • Does this song evoke that sort of indescribable emotion in anyone else? Like a familiar feeling from a dream

  • Does anyone else think this song has a hidden meaning? i.e. farting in an elevator??

  • @034v10n haha

  • @034v10n aha not a bad analysis of the lyrics

  • this might be the best song Incubus has ever made. don't get me wrong, most all of their songs are great, but this stuff's on a different level.

    "so let 'em stare..."

  • i have explored incubus' entire catalog and this is easily one of their best songs...love live incubus of the late nineties.......

  • DOPE where can I find this album??

  • Comment removed

  • The collab between Jose and Dirk is outstanding pretty much all the time in their days as bass/drum partners of crime, but this song being more of an underground Incubus song shows they had some sick shit under their belt for stuff that hardly ever gets heard! Incubus fans, Branch!

  • what ever happen to the good bands that make good music like this?

music noe days are cluttered with rap and hip hop now days :(

  • Incubus have been together since 1991 which makes 20 years not 12

  • if they played this on the radio it would totally give people hope for the radio again.

  • I love everything incubus has done and i love them because they keep changing and play a little bit of everything. And the thing is when they play a lil bit of everything they play it all well. there is no style they havnt tried and succeded at playing well in their 13 odd years. INCUBUS IS THE BAWLZ

  • under appreciated in my opinion. Great song!

  • when Incubus attacks vol.1 came out several years ago. it has acoustic versions of some of their greatest songs, then this a and bonus track. the last song smoking the weed again, is the only song Brandon didn't help write or sing. . . i think

  • wicked song.

    <3 incubus, best band EVER

  • kool lol theres a bunch of sayain pods falling from the sky *sigh* gotta love incubus

  • the best incubus song to me even over pardon me

  • Good song....

  • Well Smooshster ur wrong about that i think the Gutarist is way better than the Bassest reson being he has more musical abilities for instance Mike Einziger the guitarist had perfored in a symphony n the Bassest Durk Lance has done nothing but gottin kicked out n is now trying 2 make a new band called willies nerve clinic n it's not doin so well n the rest of incubus is liven it up with there huge fan base.

  • mediocre really? listen to to some live performances and then call them mediocre

  • I guess im saying the rest of the band just seems mediocre compared to the bassist

  • Are we hearing the same music? Either you aren't very familiar with Incubus or you've never looked up Mike Einziger. Cheers to new knowledge!

  • I'm a bassist, so I'll probably like the bassist best no matter what. I retract my previous comment of saying they were "mediocre". It's not my favorite style of music, but Incubus does deserve some respect.

  • incubus is the shit point blank

they could do country music and still sound good

  • Im not really into this kind of music. But Incubus' bass player blows my mind. Im currently learning this song and a few others

  • is this an acual album?

  • @Ruddteen

Not really, it's got songs from Fungus Amongus on it, only remastered.

I can't remember what songs are only on this cd - Crowded Elevator, Version, Azwethinweizm, and... nah, I think that's it.

  • @Zaphkielonoma a boy band? really? you need to work on your concept of what a boy band is

  • S.C.I.E.N.C.E.

  • For those who are saying that incubus are sell-outs. You guys are obviously not artistic. People change, they've been around for 12 years. They wouldn't have fans if they didn't evolve--sheesh. were you the same person as you are now 12 years ago.

  • If they were sellouts they would throw an album out there every year like nickelback or some other ambient radio-noise band. They haven't put an album out in 4 years i'd say because they want some more life experience to incorporate into the music. their next album may possibly even shape music of the 10th decade, who knows its incubus, they either go big or go home.

  • @valarie311

    longer then 12 years fooooooooooooooooool

  • Comment removed

  • @valarie311 True. And, they've been around as a band for more than 12 years, anyway: It's about to be 20 years.

  • @valarie311 well said.

  • @valarie311 12 years? They released Fungus Amongus in 1995, and that was all material from when they were touring a few years before that. So that would be at least 16+ years...They have been around for a while now.

  • @baker8503 they've been a band since 1991! my entire life...20 years.

  • Too bad these guys don't make music like this anymore. This used to be one of my favorite bands but the last couple albums disappointed me :(

  • i felt the same way. i also thought the same thing. but im sure if you enjoyed there older work, youll enjoy the new material. just give it a chance and keep listening to it. read the lyrics too. its crazy when you actually listen to everything and than look at it as a time line youll be surprised how amazing it is. i know exactly what you mean too. i swear i felt the same way but give it a chance. open your mind to it.

  • And I gave the chance. I bought "A crow left of the murder" when it came out and I listened to "Light grenades" too. I still like some of the new songs but I don't like the albums as whole as I like the older ones. I just think that the old bassist was a better influence as far as the way music sounds. I wish they could get back to making music like "S.C.I.E.N.C.E." or "Make Yourself"

  • Ah come on you can't say that last couple albums were disappointing. Light Grenades yea, but everything else is good.

S.C.I.E.N.C.E will always remain #1 though.

  • no way

    fungus amungus...

  • I feel you man. To you haters: great that their music evolved, but their newer music sucks. It's not nearly as intricate and thought out

  • Thanks for the Post with the better audio quality. Amazing Song from a great time for this band!!!!!!

  • non album track???

  • @JCmetal666 from the scream 3 soundtrack

  • ooo hella better quality. Well done Senor.

  • These guys can sing any song and it sounds so damn good!

  • They should of made a video of this song and more live performances for this song...it's an awesome song

  • AHHHH That Fucking bass line!!!!

  • Such incredibly talented musicians. The Bass and Drums are something else in the verse. Brandon's voice never ceases to amaze me either. Outstanding

  • This song is amazing, I love it!!!!

  • that creature's head has features like cell from dragonball z

  • actually it looks like the head of ultra man or mask rider

  • i never realized this but the bass is pretty sick in this song

  • is this a new albun song???? i didnt know that the have new material!!

  • no this is from when incubus attacks vol. 1

  • ohhh i didnt know it thaks man!

  • Welcome to 2000.

  • @zeredom

    HA! I wish.

they dont' play awesome music like this anymore..

  • and your ears sir @FLPman are obviously not worthy of the awesomeness that is incubus. Their material has evolved beyond your ability to appreciate what changes they have made to their music but havnt changed what their band is about.....! so yes..... digest THAT!

  • @zeredom its also on the scream 3 soundtrack

  • @misswayawesome haha i bought the scream 3 soundtrack just for this song, the rest of the album was umm pretty gay, known this song for ages and its probably in their top 5 songs imo

  • @zeredom sorry but i like enjoy when somebody comment something like this =D.. this song is maybe from 99'..one of those songs that you randomly find and make yours for the great they are =D, i recorded it in a 90minutes cassette haha xD

  • Tight song

Love the drums and bass in this one

  • I'm buying this album, it's gonna cost me $123.99, but it's worth it.

  • why so much?

  • DONT BE STUPID. i got it for £5 in england. dude. A canadian version was released, which is exactly the same other than some colours in the cover. And its not rare.

  • thanks for the better audio quality :) what a great song.

  • Dang! I really need to get S.C.I.E.N.C.E.!!!

  • its not on S.c.i.e.n.c.e.

  • I know. I'm just saying I really need to get it. I was actually responding to the comments that other users made.

This song was on When Incubus Attacks (Volume 1), wasn't it?

  • this song isnt on science if that is what u are implying, though i wish it was

  • @WildBillHickums it came from the make yourself era

  • science, morning view, fungus are the best albums EVER

  • this song is so badass, like all their early albums this tune makes me wanna throw my idiot box out the window of my apartment and start screaming at the world. in my opinion S.C.I.E.N.C.E is their best album because of its sheer power and attitude which every track showcases, not to mention some of the most innovative slap technique in Dirk's bass playing which i try to emulate every time i get on my 4 string. this song has the power of SCIENCE but the same vibe as make yourself.
  • agree'd, it's hard to compare all of their albums, because each album changes slightly to get away from power. but i definitely like SCIENCE, but A Crow Left of the Murder would have to be my favorite. great stuff either way. incubus is such a great band. :)

  • yeh i find it hard to compare new incubus with old because as soon as they dropped the original bassist the fat funk-metal tone that was the foundation of all their early albums left with him. Not to deny ben kenney of his talent for he's an awesome bassist and i absolutely love where they've gone with ACLOTM and light grenades, but i will always mourn the absence of dirk's fat bass tone that would literally slap the clothes off the ppl in the front row. RIP Incubus (1995-2001)

    nowtheyvmatured.

  • i completely agree man, after Dirk, the kind of got mellow, that funk tone left. and you are right the new stuff is great but the old stuff is great too. i will say there was alot more going on back in the day bass wise, but ben kenny brings just another style to the table which changed the band either way, Incubus never ceases to amaze me. hah. can't wait for another album (apparently and hopefully in 2010. so i've heard)

  • thank warwick!

  • awesome song. Love their old stuff. gonna buy it all one day.. when i have money -_-

  • Make Yourself and Morning View are my favorite albums.

  • yh, those two are good. i like science and earlier stuff too, i got there OLD unreleased stuff and early EPS. not in physical form tho :(. it costs a bomb to get them

  • @jc51992 Make Yourself, Morning View, and Light Grenades, are mine. In that order xD.

  • @jc51992 Science is pretty bad ass
