I just got a set of these. I noticed that they all have just the slightest bend in the handle. I was wondering if this is just mine or if yours have a slight deviation as well. Also, I make a large variety of homemade props. If you would like to make, try, and discuss them I would be glad to explain their construction. I respect that you are trying to inform people about juggling equipment. keep it up.
hey, i have been wondering if i should purchase some airflite clubs and my only concern is that do they get easily scratched up and are they easy to watch? thanks!
The surface of the clubs is fairly scratch resistant but it really depends on how much you use them and where you juggle them. If you get white or yellow you might end up with small black scuff marks but not so much with the other colors. They are very easy to wash because they are one solid piece of plastic.
I suppose they come off with some scrubbing. I only have red and scuff marks are barely visible so I don't clean them off very often. I'm pretty sure that a bit of scrubbing would help you keep them looking nice.
Yeah, I do own a set of 5 orange Delphins. I can't seem to make up my mind about whether I like them or not as well. I was a little hesitant about making an episode on them because I think the pros and cons would just blur together. I suppose I could try doing it.
i think a good idea for the next series would be to get other youtubers to somehow do a prop talk on some of the props they have or something, then post it as a response to one of your videos, or you could even somehow post it on your channel - this way you could build up a massive archive for people trying to decide what props to buy, also different people have different props so youd get a real variation. Theres a huge archive of juggling tutorials on youtube but it's hard to know what to buy
that's a really good idea! I can't even count how many times people have asked me, "what props should I buy, and why?" ...it's hard to answer that question because everyone likes different props for different reasons.
If there were more prop review vids like this online, it would be very useful.

I got 12 clubs just like these but they have shorter handels and are not very hevy. I got them in sets of three $5 each and I find them pretty good.

Mine are also slightly bent but it is very hard to notice and doesn't really have any effect on the way they're juggled.

I agree. they still play well. I was just curious. I am on a similar mission as you so it helps to get input from others. thanks

cant you just tape the handle so it wont hurt as much?
joogledoc123 2 years ago
You could but it would probably look kind of weird and other jugglers would be wondering why you didn't buy taped clubs to begin with.
JugglerJTW 2 years ago
Yes but not completely round. They are pushed in a little on the very bottom to make it easier to balance on your chin or forehead.

Airflite clubs are pretty good but European clubs are my favorite.

Don't you have a set of delphins too? you could still do one more episode of proptalk before you have to buy new props!
I'd like to hear your pros and cons about delphins, because I've tried them before and never decided if I actually like them, haha.

That's a good idea. I'll have to think about how to do that.
