@thetan63 he's a bad boyfriend like that, hahaha. can't put all the blame on august, when tommy's so clueless. plus, they didn't show the episodes in the order they were shot.

but who really knows? a lot of the only real consistent plot points are things like their fear of jello and "leaking" as opposed to crying, but even then, they mess up sometimes. ever notice that they never really refer to events that happened in past episodes?
