People say this isn't Tom but if you listen to other parts where Bill sings, he pronounces 'rain' perfectly. Tom couldn't (I don't know if he can now) pronounce 'r' right so he says 'wain'.

If you listen to them speaking english in interviews then you can hear that Tom has the thickest German accent, thus being unable to pronounce the 'r' sound correctly :)
