I was already a fan of Big Bang but because of this documentary, I discovered how awesome 2NE1 is as an artist too. I never saw what the big hype was about them until I stumbled upon this video.
@trumpet8425 nope they trained 2-4 years. most entertainment companies(in Korea), if not all, train their artists for years before making their debut. They obviously don't dance like Mari, but they all have their strengths & weaknesses! They had to learn all this in 2 days plus another song! Only a true artist can do that! And of coarse they are learning even as they are famous already...there's always room for improvement, big star or not!

@trumpet8425 It's different in korea. Most trainees are kept out of the limelight and are trained for at least 2 years. I know Bom has been in YG for at least 6 years before debuting.
why do Filipinos have such an egotistical sense of pride? It's like every little bit of good just one Filipino does the whole country/race tries to take credit for.

@cbreezyskween Yeah, like everyone else said. CL and Minzy are probably the weakest in english. Bom went to college in the states and Dara has been speaking since she was young. Her and her brother are both polyglots.
@teecuppit3a no. actually Minzy is only the weakest. coz CL has travelled with her father a lot, and attended different foreign schools. She is fluent in English. she also know japanese and french, i think. and if you watch 2ne1 interviews, CL is always the main speaker when it comes to english.

Mari martin is one of my favorite choreographers!! I was so happy when they got her to make choreo for 2NE1. Seeing her doing the dance is amazing and I'm really happy for her :)
@chaddict08 I agree they should've kept the original choreo for the chorus but they had to change some because of they have to hold mics. So simplified version of the chorus was kinda necessary.
@ava030 no...there;s a crew filming this video not bom actually kanauru productions crew...bommie took the video of mari dancing for her own personal copy to help her memorize dance steps because she finds it hard to memorize choreography.
@thunderlovelightning Bom has many YT clips while speaking english :))) Really cute :3 Try 2NE1 TV season 2 and well just use YouTube's search engine and maybe type Park Bom english speaking, whatever, i'm sure they'll come out and you'll be able to watch :D Not sure about Dara and Minzy though. And also, if this is the routine they "didn't use" why are they showing clips from the other routine? It seems like they are changing the routine for the English version of Can't nobody.
As stated before. YG hires choreographers to choreograph a song. After that's done, YG and staff modifies it to however they see fit. If I didn't show clips of the original choreography I would have nothing to use for this episode. Also I believe it's interesting to see how different the original choreography can be. Since most people are unaware of this. I saw the original choreography for Big Bang's "Gara Gara Go", it's very different.
Funny how she (Mary) is a good dancer and how she shows confidence in her moves, yet she seems to have a very insecure/shy personality when she's not dancing.
@andruchina Maybe they'll use this choreography for the English Version. Because both versions have different lyrics and could affect how the choreography goes. For example, "Haters Can't Never See Me", people would be like how did she end up there? And "Too Slow" was the same for Korean and English.
dara can speak english and understand in previous movie or show in the phillippines she. can speak and understand english...i think dara shy to speak english but his english is good hehehehehhehe and dara english is not engrish hehehehehe dara fayting!!!!!

Mari martin is one of my favorite choreographers!! I was so happy when they got her to make choreo for 2NE1. Seeing her doing the dance is amazing and I'm really happy for her :)

I knew it! Mari didn't suggest the choreo of the chorus part... it was kinda funny ^^; They should've retained the original (just my opinion)

@chaddict08 I agree they should've kept the original choreo for the chorus but they had to change some because of they have to hold mics. So simplified version of the chorus was kinda necessary.

@ava030 no...there;s a crew filming this video not bom actually kanauru productions crew...bommie took the video of mari dancing for her own personal copy to help her memorize dance steps because she finds it hard to memorize choreography.

That was Mari's voice not Dara's. Keone brought food for Mari. He even states it to the camera before he goes in the room.

@thunderlovelightning Bom has many YT clips while speaking english :))) Really cute :3 Try 2NE1 TV season 2 and well just use YouTube's search engine and maybe type Park Bom english speaking, whatever, i'm sure they'll come out and you'll be able to watch :D Not sure about Dara and Minzy though. O.o

And also, if this is the routine they "didn't use" why are they showing clips from the other routine? It seems like they are changing the routine for the English version of Can't nobody.

As stated before. YG hires choreographers to choreograph a song. After that's done, YG and staff modifies it to however they see fit. If I didn't show clips of the original choreography I would have nothing to use for this episode. Also I believe it's interesting to see how different the original choreography can be. Since most people are unaware of this. I saw the original choreography for Big Bang's "Gara Gara Go", it's very different.

@andruchina Maybe they'll use this choreography for the English Version. Because both versions have different lyrics and could affect how the choreography goes. For example, "Haters Can't Never See Me", people would be like how did she end up there? And "Too Slow" was the same for Korean and English.
