hi, you play these beatle songs very accurately.what guitar are you using, i know that its a gretsch but what model and year is it made? thanks.mr ug30
jimihendrixfan2008: They're described by Gretsch as simulated F holes and were introduced to reduce feedback. You can Google 'Gretsch Country Gentleman' for full specifications for the guitar.
limwoo43: Than for your comment. You can download the video and using video software (Windows Movie Maker is free - comes with Windows) slow it down or go frame by frame.
PicciProductions: I can't tell the difference. The only real difference is the neck pickup pole pieces -- Supertron vs Filtertron. See Gretsch website for more.
The fake F holes certainly don't look as nice as real ones, but if you have a Casino like I do, you know I'm not lying when I say they cause feedback. Not a huge problem really because I play mostly Beatles which doesn't require distortion that much. I'm thinking about saving up for a G6122-1962 Gretsch CG, do you know if it sounds good?
beautiful guitar, sir

This is the first "real" song I learnt to play with my first electric guitar, about 25 years ago!
Your version is really perfect, both tone and execution.
I like all your videos, keep on posting

fflazerus: Thanx for your comment. The "f" holes are simulated to prevent feedback. The guitar is a 1967 Gretsch Country Gentleman.
mlswartz 6 months ago
Ey, the "f" holes in that Gretsch are fakes? Wich model is that? thanks!
