The Edison catalogue has many hidden treasures. And Edison recorded some great artists like the California Ramblers (Golden Gate Orchestra), Original Memphis Five, Harry Reser, Georgia Melodians and many more. When jazz pops up on Edison, it's indeed refreshing to hear it!
@Paal1994 no steel needles for a cylinder record! :)
Very very nice machine, and brilliant Cylinder - a 1920's classic. I have heard this song before, but not on a cylinder. You have some great late blue amberols!
Yes I did mean the Jass one step. I would also love to find a copy of that record of course playing it on my standard D will not sound as good as your amberola because the diamond C diaphram is much bigger than the model H and the diamond c has a heavier weight which gives the music more volume. Phonophan shure did a great job restoring this one.
After dealing with my discs so intensely over the past year, it's refreshing to hear some jazz on an Edison!

Thank you!
I love cylinders. I find them more interesting than 78's.

@whiskeyshan Glad you liked it! :) I think Reser did this for Brunswick as well, but I like this rendition better.

Do you mean the "Jass" One-Step?
I don't have a copy of it, but I wish I had... It's a great and catchy tune.

They sure did. I recommend to buy machines from them, the service is really great.

I think it is interesting to listen to 1920's dance bands on cylinders.
