Does anyone know where this pair of clips came from? And who is the orchestra backing the DRB whose initials are "G.A."? Was this an armed forces production and is there more of it on film?
Throughout the '40s they popularized what would later be nicknamed "doo wop" singing. They were doing that well before the Ravens era (and the Ravens admired them).

Oh, never mind, I figured it out. It's Gus Arnheim and His Orchestra backing up DRB, and the clips from Swingtime Holiday (1944).

Looks too young to be Gus Arnheim.
How about Geogie Auld? Looks a bit like him, but I really cant tell.
