  • Klingt wie a Auszug nach dem Motto: Scheiss drauf, Pfarrer lauf zu, will heim hab Hunger...

  • Far too fast and what an awful sounding nasty electronic instrument

  • @DiegoLiger Speed is necessary on account of short reverberation time and the sound of this instrument is why it has been very much improved since. See videos "Hugh Potton Reubke" "Latrobian Whirl" "French Baroque Masterclass" "JCM Reger" and "JCM Bach" and "Couperin Tierce en Taille - low pitch - meantone temperament - equal rhythm" has an interesting comment about the Tierce

  • BRAVO! LOVED IT!!!

  • Best performance of this piece I've ever heard!

  • Hi! Glad you enjoyed it - I will try to find the original sound recording and put it with the video - the bangs are terrifying! I'll be posting more items by Hugh Potton in the next few days so keep eyes open for him!

  • Naw, it's not too fast at all. Nice playing.

Found this piece at a garage sale , so have been playing it ever since.

  • pourquoi aussi vite?

  • The idea was brilliant, the execution suffered somewhat in the timing however!

  • The whole point is to have fun here - well done hammerwood!

  • Thanks for expressing appreciation! The balloons were intended to be fun and we've tried again more spectacularly, but haven't planned any more as few seem to share our sense of humour!

  • That wasn't the absolute best performance of Lemmens that I've heard, but it was still quite good. The ballon trick was funny. When I finally figured out what was happening, I started laughing. They sounded like some electrical fuses that I've heard blow out.

  • too fast!

  • Doesn't speed of playing depend on the acoustic?

  • no, it´s simply too fast!

  • I've just seen that Hugh Potton is in good company - Diane Bish has been accused of the same thing!

  • Fun!

But why was he driving Hi-Fi Speakers through the Organ thou??

  • He wasn't! This relates to downloading the MP3 file with the good recording of this - and then please do beware the bangs as they made me jump . . . and luckily the speakers survived playing the recording!

  • Splashy!
