  • V4 is Honda. I don't like CBR...

  • beautiful

  • This is more beutiful that any ducati

  • Wow i will own one!

  • One of the best motorbikes in the history!

  • 只有兩個字~~~~感動!

    能生產出這樣的東西,

    那些技師們應該會覺得很自豪。

  • Look at the size of those visors. I didn't know astronauts tested bikes back then.

  • I'm sure HD takes this much care in their production bikes..

  • @alanthegringo that's funny

  • 素晴らしいものを見せていただきました。

    うp主さん、ありがとう。

  • Jizzed in my pants

  • Building an engine without oil? Hope they never started it! Nice promo video though.

  • Just RESPECT

  • Nice..., True colors,mate

  • Absolute perfection!!!!!

  • Some engineering pieces for their character and history are what they are, timeless classics forever, like the spitfire in the ww2, or the vfr

  • wow... And friends wonder why I have a honda tattoo on my arm...

  • the godfather of the VFR series.

    epic! i want one

  • Apparently, Joey Dunlop watches this in Heaven everynight before going to bed.

  • Ive got a map of ireland on my pants :)

  • six ppl ride harleys

  • So beautiful it brings a tear to the eye. You can really tell that hey made this bike and vid with pride!

  • art.

  • These legendary engines are practically bullet proof. I have seen quite a few with over 200,000 miles on the clocks and they still run perfect.

The gear driven cam system is genius and does without rattly camchains and dodgy tensioners. It is also incredibly strong, reliable and maintainance free.

Regular oil changing is the key to these engines, change it every 5,000 miles and the engine will literally last forever.

The 1st VFR750 with single side swingarm is THE one to own and the best.

  • BRUTAL! Estos de Honda las saben todas...

  • AMEN

  • This isnt Engineering, this isnt Hand-crafting, This is sheer Artistry in in Skill & Steel, a Sculpture, an Immortal Icon....F.

  • Being a Kawa fan myself, it's this videos that show that passion for making special bikes isn't all in Italy.

Japanese have always been true craftsmen, driven by perfection. If you know how they did (and do) a samurai sword, you'll know.

They don't always get it right, but when they do...

  • <3 it. RC/NC30 are the best looking bike from the 80's IMO. the massive single sided swing arm is uber sexy... the head light, fairings are perfectly profiled and shaped and looks great from all angles. flawless and perfect.

  • Una de las motos de serie msa bonitas de la historia.

  • This is for me one os the finest promotional videos of all times. I wonder if it was filmed on 35 mm. ...

  • Tecnology and Passion together. Magic!!

    Great video! Thanks

  • El video mas bonito que he visto

  • beautiful

  • pure magic!

  • For me best bike in the world... i myself own the litle sister rc30.... great video thanks for sharing

  • i'm crying

  • Such history in this machine. I just hate it when people think Bubba Shibert used an RC30 in the 1988 AMA Superbike championship. It was Fred Merkel's 2 year old RC24.

This and the Ducati 916 are motoring Genesis. They are the two wheeled versions of the Porsche 993 and McLaren F1.

  • this video is like porn for mechanics =)

    (got a boner =P )

the nicely machined parts measured on the tolerance watch was as hot as two hot girls wrestling in a pool of oil!!! =P

  • Great bike, great video! The RC30 & RC45 are the best japanese bikes ever built. :) Powerful V4 engine, gear driven camshaft, beautiful single sided swingarm...

Thanks for uploading this interesting video! 5*

    Greetings from Hungarian VFR Club!

    Sayonara!

  • your so much cooler on one of these

  • Using no Oil when they assemble the Engine?...

  • I don't think they actually built them this way, but it's a nice mood and good info on the details.

    It was a beautiful bike.

  • Still is a beautiful bike !

Yes, they were really built this way, they was teams of HRC engineers picked for the task, they were assembled in the HRC works rather than the Hoda production facilitiy

  • BEAUTIFUL!

Wish they would build Bikes today with the same diligence and handcraft...

  • They do, in Bologna, Italy.

  • @razor650 They do - you just have to spend the $30k+ for them.

The RC30 was expensive - in 1990 I remember them costing $16,500 (at the 1 dealer where they actually sold it). To put that in perspective, the GoldWing at the time cost around $7500.

  • Magnifique <3

  • <3 love

  • PB magazine sucks cock - Doesn't it Lil Guv!

  • What a beautiful vid!..PB magazine recommended this video so a big thankyou to all at the pb office. It was an absolute gem!

  • un grand merci fabulleux

  • Pure class!! love it, people can slag honda off all they want, but in my eyes, no other manufacturer comes close...remember the NR750?? underseat pipes...then came the ducati 916..and people think that ducati are the ones with all the style ans ideas lol..

  • Anyone knows which is the first song of the video? The one that sounds while the bike is being assembled. The other one is Erik Satie - Je te veux, as adivsed in the below comments.

    Thanxxx!!!

  • I can't be sure, but it sounds exactly like the main music from the documentary "Man on Wire" about Philip Petit tightrope walking between the twin towers in 1977

  • erik satie 'gymnopedies'

  • @zaner230 you nailed it!

  • thats pure passion and nothing else!

  • nice japanese!

  • Excellent video! Thanks for posting!

  • que belleza..., el videoclip es perfecto..., la calidad de los constructores japoneses en su maxima expresion...

you could upload the video to download better quality?please

  • I really loved the bike before watching Honda engineers giving birth to such a beauty. Fine hands for extreme delicate japanese art job.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • I'm realy glad that Honda are going to start mking more V4 performance engines, I rode a vfr 400 and the engine was a peach, dull in the vfr 800, I want to see it in more road race bikes!

  • put simply the best japanese bike ever built!

  • awesome

  • the bike is a real superbike icon from the 90s.the video whit that piano part is very borring

  • me mate has one, he offered me a lap of the isle of man on it...i was too scared i mite have dropped it so declined...proper race bike...not a converted street race rep..

  • Yeah that's pornography for me.......I love my NT650 and the RC30 is like the cream of the crop.

  • Well done Soup for bringing this video to the fore !!!

Now [ yet again ] I want one.

  • iconic bike the v4 drone gives me goosepimples hope to have an rc30 someday soon, a big thanks for posting video

  • A dream owning one of these masterpieces..

    i drive the regular VFR 750F :)

  • was a joy watching joey dunlop race these machines, back in the day

  • FORCE V4

  • were these bikes actually hand-made?

  • Absolutely awesome film, as a tribute to a well manufactured dream bike. This is the bike japan invents itself new back then. Sad that these bikes like the RC30, OW01 and of course RC45 never had a true follow up. Sayonara

  • fantastic youtube gem !!!!

  • my friend Lucas Rd350 their mounts in the same way, that's why it took two years with unassembled

  • Is...romantic video!

    RC30 beautiful!

  • oh my, my panties are wet now!

  • Pure sex. Reminds me of why I bought my RC30 and makes me get it out for a ride.

  • Does anybody know the piano song that was used?

  • erik satie

  • Funny, right after I asked what song it was, I looked at some old CD's and I found this song.

  • It is Erik Satie - Je te veux

  • Gymnopedie nº1 (1st from a total of 3)

    from Erik Satie.

    Awesome choice.

  • Thanks man.

  • My pleasure!

  • it really a beautifull film.

    Thanks .

  • Is incredible if I think that today is all different.....very good video....one of the best...

  • Excelent video :)

When bikes were made with the heart and moved on with soul ehehehe
