I creeped through the last chapter of his book, b/c I didn't want it to end. To me, Clinton didn't come off as such a villain in the text. The Clinton instances, outbursts & misdeeds seemed plausible & accepted due to the important nature of surrounding events--more about the welfare of the nation & less about skirt chasing. B/c of the book, I admire GS, I don't think less of Clinton (Fan for life) & absolutely ADORE HILLARY. Too bad Ali wasn't in the book.

Clinton was a deeply conflicted man... however, he didn't use Monica. If you read about what Monica wrote about their relationship, he was very needy towards her. The relationship was soon after his mother died, and Monica reminded him of her. He wasn't a heartless womanizer, they both had a genuine relationship. They sent gifts to each other, they talked together on the phone at least once a week. It's a shame George turned on Bill. I don't think George understands Bill's true conflict inside.

After seeing the debate on ABC this week I have new respect for Stephanopolis, he grew some cahones and actually asked B.
