@cjalmighty He isn't using HDMI, he is using component cables. The older generations of Xbox come with two sets of cords Stardard Def and HD.

@OMGiTzTiger maybe the problem is because u havent switched to standar mode in your xbox cables, i turned them into standar mode but it still shows me the game in hd the only problem is that the sound will be played in your computer.

brain fart, i turned off the sound effects for my xbox. that was how i was testing the sound. seems like the optic on the back of my tv still works and the headset didnt die. so happy! but thanks for the video man your a life saver, if you can find out a way to use the dazzle with HDMI and still record audio and everything from the dazzle that would be totally righteous.

Yeah, this barely helps. You have to set the switch to TV (the component cables also output for some reason even then), and even though the resolution stays at 480p, it looks slightly better and less fuzzy than the composite cables.

He has his component/standard cables (the white and the red) connected to his tv - the headset - his dazzle.

Also he has his component cable (the yellow) connected to his dazzle.

While having his HDMI connected to his TV.
