C64 - International Karate +

One of my favourite C64 games. At the time it looked very polished and top quality and was great fun. I managed Black Belt eventually, with a decent joystick and good concentration I did well on the ball deflection rounds.

I trained Shotokan Karate for 4 years but I never got past the brown belt. I just couldn't deflect those balls and my sensei was very disappointed.

@sergeu78 It didn't officially come out, but at the moment some polish guys are working at an atari xl/xe version of it. just search "ik+ wip atari" on youtube to see the progress :)

That was actually an arcade game called "Karate Champ."

No, but it was similar. In Bloodsport the referee in the game spoke, e.g.: "waza ari" - which was strange because it's an expression used in Judo. :)
