hey you could have the scene of of aslan in front of everyone then go to lucy's view and see aslan then goes to the others one by one and he isnt there
Speaking of Lucy knowing Aslan when she sees him, what do you think about her mistaking the minotaur for Aslan? I thought that was a bit out of character.
When it comes to Aslan, I think it'll be like the Thestrals in Order of the Phoenix. They'll just physically put him there so we, as well as Lucy, can see him but the other three can't.
About Aslan being seen by only Lucy. Have you seen Stardust? Near the end, the evil witch is talking about the star and the other slightly evil woman can't see the star. It really works perfectly. You get a shot of what the witch can see (the star) and then it changes to the other evil lady's face and then her point of view (evil witch looking at mid-air and no star). It's hard to describe but it works perfectly. That's how I always imagined the scene in the book. I hope they do it that way.
The fight scene was cut in that clip. More of it - probably the whole thing - was on Good Morning America this morning during the Ben Barnes interview. Abrighterstar has posted it here on YouTube, so go have a look! ^_^
What if we see Aslan with Lucy from behind her and then, as the camera pans behind the other characters (beside her), Aslan disappears while Lucy still appears to be following him with her eyes/head?
Non-gentle Susan was already established in the first film, so I guess I've somewhat given up fighting against it. S/C on the other hand is something I can still hope against, to some degree.
I totally agree, GP, you should do voice overs. Eleven days, ahhhhhhhhh!

I agree. It was cheesy and out of character. "My sheep know my voice" but Lucy apparently doesn't.

I'm trying to look at the Caspian and Susan kiss as a bit of comdey really to keep me going.
I'm more upset at the moment about Battle Susan.

I wouldn't say non-gentle Susan was established in the first film. She only shot one arrow.

I was talking more about her personality than violence or lack thereof. Susan shouting "This is all your fault" at Peter hurts me every time.

What about Trumpkin's line, "Beads and breadsticks!" (I think it was something like that). Was that line in the book?
ANewMan17 3 years ago
It was beards and beadsteads! LOL. Yes it was in the book. ;)

lol
Okay, thanks! I couldn't tell what it was he said. So that is one more to add to the list of lines from the book that made it into the film. :-)

The line, "It's funny girls can't carry a map in their heads" and "That's because our heads have something in them."
I think this verse in from The Silver Chair. Isn't it?
NathanH83 3 years ago
no it's from prince caspian.

I guess I'm thinking of something different, when Eustuce said "It's funny girls don't know their directions"," and Jill said,"You don't know either."
its similar. I'm glad that they didn't steal a line from Silver Chair and put it in Caspian.

Your final statement pretty much sums up how a lot of us are feeling. 11 days, huzzah!
