@tangally I know exactly what you mean. I feel the same when I watch the Narnia movies. Christianity's God and Heaven isn't what I long for, it's Narnia - magic, goodwill, and adventure!
does anyone else get a weird aching feeling of longing in their stomach when they watch this movie. i know i sound like everyone else on this site. but Narnia is truly where i want to be. i would give anything in the world just to have some proof that their is something more then just our miserable everyday existence. this movie makes me sad, jealous and incredibly, unbelievably happy at the same time
@tangally I know exactly what you're talking about. Ask God to show you the kingdom of Heaven (and no, I don't mean the movie). We live in a more adventurous world than we know. =)
@tangally I wasn't talking about God. I was talking about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. But I guess you have to have some belief that God is real to talk to Him in the first place...
eveytime i listen this i get goosbumps al over my body. this is incredible music, extraterrestrial it seems. But i shall love this till the end of my life.
first i fell in love with Peter. Then i thought "what an arrogant asshole. He so mean to his own brother!!". And than again i thought he is quite cool :D
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God" Father, thank you for counting us worthy to be warriors for your name! May I bring you glory; may I be a mighty warrior for Your name!
i had watched this on dvd, on my 20 year old TV, and the sound wasnt working properly. There were no voices, and I could only hear the music, it was still effing awesome . I liked it better with only music than with the voices in actualy
I absolutely LOVE this movie, actually I am addicted to it... I know it by heart: every second, every scene... I LOVE it's soundtrack. It's incredible. I listen this play list every day, can't listen enough....
did you know that chinhillas are supposed to like this music?lol this is random but anyways I love Narnia songs+movies+books but I wish they amde movies for more of the books
I love this music, and I am within days of my 17th birthday. However, I honestly do not believe good music suffers ageism. Rather, it reaches out to a vast audience (it is up to the individual to grasp or turn away from its welcoming hand) when perhaps other forms of music may not have that capability.
You're so right. I'm almost 20, but I love this kind of music, because it sweeps you of your feet. As long as you're open to a fantasy, age doesn't really matter.
I haven't done a heap of research or anything so I don't know for sure, but I've heard that C.S. Lewis didn't actually intend for Narnia to be like the Bible - he just started writing a story and it developed into what it is. Like I said, I'm not absolutely sure on that :). He was religious though.
Narnia is awesome, especially the books. C.S. Lewis was an awesome guy. he was a good friend of J.R.R. Tolkien, ya know. lol. the first narnia movie was pretty good, but the second movie was a joke. especially cuz of the whole Caspian-Susan thing. that's just typical Disney. but no matter how much i dislike the actual second movie, harry gregson williams still did the music, so that's still cool. i love all the narnia music. yep.
What I liked was that they were pretty true to the books! Most of the stuff they changed either didn't matter, or made it better (The fox wasn't in the books, but I really liked his character!)
they keep bringing the witch back though... She was only in the silver chair, lww and Magicians nephew... watching trailer for dawn treader and bam there's her wonderful mug! but that's the only bone i have to pick
@Littleoldmeluvsu the White Witch played a very minor role in the book, Prince caspian, when she was being followed by a black dwarf, but the red dwarfs attacked her and she died for a while. she wasn't in the Voyage of the Dawn treader, the horse and his boy or the last battle though.
what the hell? i consider harry gregson williams as one of the best movie soundtrack makers, if not the ONE. the battle, knighting peter and aslan's camp are classics to me. show me those people, so i can try my new heat seeking missiles
I don't live in Narnia , but in my fantasy it's exist <3 ( P.s. I'm so sorry with those Guys , who don't unterstand the move )
