In the cut I saw I thought Joan Chen was pretty fantastic. At times I would describe her as other worldly.
Hmm? I've never heard an Eric Byler film described as *okay*. The film isnt' the type that spoon feeds you bits of prefab sentiment. I saw characters and scenes that I've never seen in a film before. when cast and crew can pull that off it's absolutely worth the price of admission.
