Ultraman has also been showing in almost continuous versions since the late 1960s. I caught the last version of Mito Komon in 2006 when I visited Tokyo.
Ha ha that was funny. Funny how King Ghidora shows up randomly. I think King Ghidora is another one of those Japanese movie monsters like Godzilla. And Ultraman is the star of some really popular TV show (an anime, I think). Of course Mito Komon is really popular in Japan too. Anyway really funny.
I read about Mito Komon in a translation note in one of my volumes of the manga "Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle." The note said the show has been running since the 1970's and is still popular. I guess it's probably at the level that "Doraemon" is for anime in Japan ("Doraemon" is the longest running anime in Japan, I think).
Yay! DaiMajin transforms to Ultraman!

I spent an entire day working on one of my simple posts. This had to take several weeks to do. I'm impressed and love the cardboard!
