  • Bad day for the country and the world when we were robbed of Al Gore being president.

  • Did you flim at the Number one observatory circle.... for all you people out there, that's the Vice-President house.

  • nice guy

  • If his Futurama appearances are anything to go by, Mr. Gore is quite the comic actor.

"I have ridden the might Moon Worm!!"

  • what a lovely family.

  • i also like the bit about being penalized for bad grammar

  • "It's hard to be stiff when your wife is going around barefoot."

    LOL

  • great vid

    anyone want to chat Pb

  • He symbolized the future. Why was the future robbed from us? :-(

  • What a sad, sad day it was when we were robbed of him as president. Please run again, Mr. Gore. Forgive the American public's stupidity. Who the hell knows why anyone voted for Bush in 2000.

I hate all those effing Republicans and "independents" and "apathetics" and even "democrats." I am a Gorephile. Please run again please

  • Sarah! Karenna! I'm in the bathroom Dad! He actually reminds me of my Dad. its kind of sweet.

  • Wow an intelligent compassionate human being. The world would be a better place if they had not stolen the election from him.

    God damn to hell.

  • it sounds great

  • America really lost big when the Supreme Court robbed us of this guy in 2000. What a shame.

  • Adopt me Gores?

  • adopt me too.

  • Thank you Mr. Gore for your continued work to make America great. I would support you 100% if you were to run again.

AND, thank you for LIVE EARTH - hopefully that woke enough people up to the climate crisis.

  • I think you are wrong...with all due respect.

  • He's still eating meat=(

  • mavallarino: You are absolutely right; you can't generalize.

  • At the end, after all my visits to the US, Americans I find very lazy. Many overweight people that don't know how to cook and only buy frozen or fast food. And when the feel sad, they drug themselves with antidepressants. How sad. US = Throw away society. I know I can't generalise but this is how most of the world perceives the USA and what I have observed this is very accurate.

  • I forgot to add, he should have said,"And if he had had a PC he could have checked the spelling. This is why we need technology and PCs in classrooms!"

  • Great story at 05:09. Let's face it, The US is still the only place in the world you can be ignorant and still be successful - I can think of many people like this, can you?

  • I saw Gore speak in Iowa during the 2000 campaign. He was soo dull! It's amazing to think that he was this way all along, and he's only brought that part of his personality out recently. You can tell that he genuinely cares about the future.

  • It's so tragic to see what might have been considering the horrible mess we're in now.

  • the world is missing a good leader. Shame Bush stole the election when he ran last time.

  • Wish he'd run again. He'd make an awesome president.

    -Kimi

  • these are awsome. Thanks for posting.

  • This is the kind of man we need for President. No Question. Al, You're the best!

  • dont set gore as your example then. so he may be bad conservation wise, but the message is still true. not because gore says so, but because thats what science has been telling us for years. why should you care about global warming? well why should you care about mass human suffering?

  • Al gore for president!

  • Spike Jonze? Isn't that the guy from Jackass?

  • Yes and the "Girl" Skate Videos and "Adaptation"

  • What a blithering ass bag. Nice big fat carbon footprint Al. I wonder how much greenhouse gases his fat ass emits.

  • actually eating meat is the main cause for global warming so turn vegan

  • Wrong. he has said any air travel he does and his electric bill at home and miles driven in his car are made carbon neutral. He spends a lot of extra money to make sure that is the case. Learn something and research before you call someone a hypocrite.

  • here's my question: why is al gore such a huge dick? can you honestly make a documentary that blames humanss for global warming and then have video footage of yourself traversing the country on a private jet making numerous campaign stops, loading the family into an evil suv, and heating/lighting your energy-gobbling 'mcmansions' (2 homes = 14,000 sq.ft). now lets talk honestly about his carbon footprint. i'll tell you what's a 'ticking time bomb' - his credibility. what a hypocrite!

  • Wrong. he has said any air travel he does and his electric bill at home and miles driven in his car are made carbon neutral. He spends a lot of extra money to make sure that is the case. Learn something and research before you call someone a hypocrite.

  • Here's my question: why wasn't this video circulated during the 2000 campaign? It would've completely refuted the notion that Al Gore was stiff and uncharismatic. This video could've won him the election more convincingly. Some people blame Bush for stealing the election; others blame Nader for giving Bush the election. I blame the media for constantly portraying Gore as being stiff, uncharismatic and condescending when they knew he wasn't those things. THEY cost him the election.

  • He is so utterly wonderful.

  • He's actually just nervous, excited about campaign, is all - and too, too friendly with these interviewers. How much did he pay for gaffes, what was the mocking like? how awful. I'm like him, I notice; I always pause the video when my dad leaves the room to refill his drink or go to the john! It's because one cares, doesn't want anyone to miss anything. Oh, no one understands...

  • ...of course, he cares totally about his family, only, he Is stiff and trying to be relaxed! difference now is, he's relaxed. Maybe, it's just too late, and he knows it...I mean, planetarily. And the word usage - is simply innocence, like 'taking the initiative in creating the internet' - it's naively ambiguous, is all, and anyone saying else is illiterate. He was kind to people, not pointing that out!

  • The Patriot is a lie of a movie, is all, and he knew it. Al Gore is as patriotic as...apple pi. But he is a geek when he opened the door to family - how did he get cool? I'm fascinated...he is best when he just thinks and feels on what he cares about. Sweet movie, he's very dear...boy, he must have paid for those unwitting 'stiff' comments though, poor thing! Vindication now must be poor consolation, he'd trade it to have spent those trillions wisely.

  • Quelle surprise! Al Gore is not excited to see a movie entitled The Patriot.

  • i think this man can have change the course of the world...he's such a cool head... there might not be a war in iraq right now which kills not just the arabs but also american soldiers... it could have been a lot more different. nice video

  • Thank you for this.

  • If Al Gore really believes that Americans should rise on their merit, why does he support affirmative action and extensive redistributive taxes?

  • What kneejerk nonsense. The answer is simple. Everyone does not start with the same advantages. In other words the playing field does not start out level. All affirmative action and "redistributive" taxes do is weakly try to give everyone the same opportunity.

  • politics aside, that is pretty cool to get an inside look... i'd like to see the bush version... spike and george...wow, wierd...

  • ....then bush came along, is there anyone he hasnt fucked?

  • gwillis, gore isnt dumb your dumb.Do you actually think bush is smarter than gore.If you do i just feel sorry for you.bush has been rich his hole life hes just a rich prick, who got into yale because his dad is loaded, and he became presidend because of his daddy.hes the worst president ever.god your an idiot, how can you be proud of voting for bush it blows my mind..

  • God, it makes me even more happy that I voted for Bush. Gore is not only boring, he's just a little dumb.

  • Should I delete your comment or leave it? Delete or Leave? Delete or Leave?

I'll leave your comment here so that the world can see with their own eyes that there are, after all his failures, people in America who STILL support Bush.

Yes World, America does have many fools like this.

  • Gore is dumb? At least he can string a proper sentence together. Bush can't even speak english half the time. Looks like you voted for an idiot.

  • The word you're looking for is 'dictatorship' and I think you're wrong; we're becoming more of an oligarchy.

  • :( bush is turning america into a dictator country :(

  • so depressing.

  • This makes me kinda cry.

  • I'm thinking of Bush right now... *outch*

  • the way his family operates seems like a perfect example of democracy. if only he could have the chance to run the country like that.

  • If America really saw this Al Gore, and not the motionless guy standing behind Clinton, even all the justices in Florida wouldn't have been able to save Bush's 2000 campaign. Plus, anybody who hangs with Spike Jonze is cool.

  • This is the Al Gore who should be President but political reality, unfortunately, will prevent it, even if elected.

  • "It is actually very hard to be stiffed if your wife's going on bare foot. This just completely messes up my image." said Al. "That's my job" Mrs. Gore. "Haha..." WOW That's some intelligent deadpan humor/interaction. I even like Mrs. Gore more than Mrs. Bush now. Amazing!

  • too many people too angry with al gore's campaign. people would not have listened to him about climate change in 2000. people were NOT listening but in denial and feeling pretty good about the values of their housing market, the powerful view from the dashboard of the range rover, the market value of BP, Exxon, Chevron, et al.

  • u all know Bush is using this terrorist attack to keep him in as president watch he will declare that bcause of the war he will not give up his presidence and since were in war the constioution might let him

All hail the War lord Bush (Not)

  • Lay off the crack pipe.

  • I would offer advice at this point recommending that you actually read the constitution, but then you'd have to be literate for that. Too bad Al Gore wasn't elected and given the chance to improve our public education system. We have 99.9% literacy in this country. I guess you're the .01%

  • ur the one that nees to read the constitution during war the president can declare martial law and the constitution will be null and void

  • Shit. He is cool. Nice body surfing there... It feels like another lifetime watching pre-2001 video. It helps me realize the pain, anger, suffering, and horror we have been put through. There will be a day when the Bush family pays for everything they have done to the people of the world and all the ways they have hurt this nation.

  • Yep, America (sort of) picked an alchoholic, coke-head, nose-picker over a man with tight connections to Apple, Google and several other top corps, several books to his name, and has the tenacity to keep going after the worst emotional defeat in recent American politics. I'd like to see what Bushie does when he's done in office.

  • If Al is so great, why didn't he run in '04 ?

  • that's not how it works. politicians are not superheros who come to your rescue. do you need him get up in the morning and make breakfast for you?

  • He said it was because the campaign would inevitably feel like a grudge match and be about the past rather than having the necessary focus on issues and the future.

  • Bloody Cranium; So you're saying then that you actually prefer a pumped up, naieve, idealistic fake cowboy over an educated, experienced,open-minded, eloquent man.

What do you think that says about you, man?

  • I hated john kerry but this guy should have been president I think. I wonder how he would have reacted to the terrorist attacks tho?

  • Like he acts on everything in his life Cool headed and open to suggestions before making a final descision. Just because he's a democrat doesn't make him a wuss. Look at FDR.

Then again i don't think there would of been a terrorist attack if he was president.

  • I don't know if i'd vote for Gore, but I really like this video. Well done.

  • this guy would be 10000000x better then that ahole we have for a president now...

  • AH AHAHA HA your all a bunch of sore losers

  • al gore 2008!! spike jonze 2016!!!

  • Astonishing. The difference between a pumped up, naieve, idealistic fake cowboy and an educated sensitive eloquent rooted man, to prefer the former over the latter is ridiculous. Al Gore is just a human male, but the difference one type of man can do to the world when they're the President of the USA should leave no room for preference of image over preference of qualification.

  • Took the words right out of my brain.

  • Really nice.. How did bush get in there?!? He is a puppett and I don't think he knows it.

  • A very cool couple of videos! Thanks for posting this.

  • Heck yes, you are welcome! Gore is what America (and the World) needs to get things back on track.
