Israel had undeniable intelligence information about a terror cell planning an attack and took proactive, precision steps to eliminate that threat to its people. To not do so would have been plain stupid. Hamas then sees this solitary act as a pretext to step up its rockets attacks when they were the ones who goaded and Israeli response.
