Dear Beta447: Tony Schwartz totally supports the value of reasoned debate but also understands how media functions. He puts no value on it but if you do not see it for what it is, and think that a reasoned debate will happen in the 24 second sound bite, you are sorely mistaken and will lose. That is Tony's point. He did not create the media. He tries to make it work for candidates he supports.

You're really a likeable guy Tony and your video wisdom is greatly appreciated. The Word of God tells us "WISDOM IS TOO HIGH FOR A FOOL" so it may be difficult for some of your audience to fully appreciate your effort. But I do. I remember the pinochio nose ads. Its very effective when the message is amplified by the visuals.

I am not in the advertising business my working life has been broadcast news. But I do know one thing that who every said a picture is worth a thousand words then well shot video, narration, and sound is worth it's weight in gold.
