Part 2 - If a link to the source were provided you'd have a much sharper picture and you might be able to see the pictures taken before and after it showing the object isn't moving while the background is. I think this amounts to deception on the part of whoever did this video.

Part 1 - The "tower" shape at 1:30 is actually a mast extending from the orbiter itself. This is apparently two pictures joined together, one with the mast, one without, giving the appearence of an isolated structure. If you look at enough of these orbiter pictures you'll see it poping up here and there. This one is cut off giving creating the illusion of an object resting on the surface.

Too bad about this video because it's one of the few I could stick with. The audio blather I had to turn down. Lots of "Ken Burns" effects of still pics just to make you think it's a video. Some shots I had seen all blurry before, but here they are fairly clear. The dark is interesting on it's own without having to make things up. But the "man on the moon" part at the end was truly stupid.
