STS turbos add massive torque, the viper is probably pushing 1000 at the wheels, available @ 2000rpm to redline. That is what you want when racing a bike that weighs 1/6 what you do, especially the faster you get into higher gears, it takes lots of torque to push 5th and 6th.

bikes have alot less drag coefficient than cars (unless it's a formula1 car) cause bikes have alot smaller frontall area and the japanese dude that designed it tested it on a wind tunnel with rider on board and bikes has nearly no air running over it because it doesn't need down force to keep it up right bikes have gyroscopic force. while cars with 5 times larger frontal area and spoilers, diffusers, etc. creates down force too keepit on the ground and that actually make it faster.

Bikes have less horsepower and that is why they will always lose on the top end. As speed increases drag increases by an exponent of 4. Even if the bike has the same drag coefficient as a car it will accelerate very quickly because of the very low power to weight ratio but as speeds pick up drag will have a huge effect on the vehicke with a 1/5th of the horsepower, that being the bike in this situation.

None of the runs shown actually show a good run with jonvon spraying. The supra actually currently put down 813 hp and the viper puts down over 1200. Not a nitrous busa at all. Stock busa's run low 10's/high 9's in the quarter mile so I'm guessing a nitrous busa would be running low 9's in a 1/4 mile. That busa wouldn't run a low 9 so vid is fake imo. That 800hp supra wouldnt run a low 9 or even a low 10 in 1/4 mile and for the busa to lose when its "got nitrous" is a big BS.

Some of these twin turbo Vipers run high 7s on pump gas. There's a reason you don't see any Supras in the pump gas drags or even faster drag racing sanctioning bodies (worlds fastest street car series, NMCA etc.)

They aren't fast enough...
