I kinda wish the androids 19 and 20 prove more of a threat meaning not getting beaten easily. The first time i seen them destroying cities and their creepy appearance really put me the edge of my seat. Their theme is perfect to their personalities.
I've always wondered why gero went back to mechanical androids after 17 and 18, espicially since he and 19 failed, maybe since 16 was the strongest of them all? (and no, I'm counting only the imperfect cell form for this, we all know 16 had him beat)
@Lockerdown3 Android 16 was the strongest but had emotional technical failures..He was too gentle and soft natured to fight and refused it even...When cell showed up he did not fight goku at the cell games he said himself he chose not to...android 17 and 18 were weaker but also had emotional/mechanical failures...their personalities were far too aggresive "opposite of 16" and uncontrolable. Android 19 was the only android that dr gero stated to be a "Successful" android as he fully obeyed orders
do u have the music that plays when "this is in the buu saga and in cell saga maybe" when vegeta attacks super buu"gohan absorbed" and gets the crap beat out of him. sounds like destruction but i dnt think it is.
This awesome music. I wish Android 19 and 20 were given a greater role in the series than a few episodes. They were loads more exciting then Android 17/18 and freaky also
@sarah9884 Yeah, androids 19 and 20 (Dr. Gero) were some of the creepiest characters in the show! I remember after the scene where D. Gero blows up half the city and Goku knocks his hat off revealing his exposed brain my jaw was hanging out in shock!
17 and 18 weren't even close to being as creepy and disturbing as 19 and 20, they weren't technically real villains, they were just rebels.
@LordMalice6d9 Imperfect cell "his first form w.o absorbing either android" is deff HIS creepiest form based on mosterous apperance and personality and evil nature...Yet i personally think android 19 was creepier and werider and quieter than first form cell. it sucks that these two androids were made into jokes when they were perfect for being deadly androids, 19 was ridiculed by vegeta and 20 was killed by his own creation, what suckish ends for 19 and 20, I mean come on, it was Dr Gero himself in android form, last time I checked he was the whole threat in the android saga for wanting revenge.

I thought the whole sucking the life out of characters was completely evil and ruthless. I do like how they incorperated that into cell though. I personally really liked Cell but I see what your getting at. We'll that's the way it played out.... I just wish Android 19 got more screen time. He was kind of weak. Hell, Gero was weak too, Piccolo took him out
No no. It was in 2006 when Cartoon Network was having those reruns of Dragon Ball Z. In fact, I believe it was when it came on Friday nights at 12:30 (the time when adult swim didn't air on Fridays).

#17 and #18 were strong, but rebellious. #16 was the strongest, but he had some human emotions that Gero never got a chance to remove.
#19 is the almost perfect robot, he follows orders (mostly) and has no feelings (except fear, sort of), unlike #16, #17, and #18
