To be honestly, I only really know Alan Alda from his work on MASH, though I love his work on that show, in terms of acting, writing, and directing. I have been watching The West Wing recently, though haven't gotten to his part.
Anyway, this was a great interview. It did a great job of showing just who he is, as a person and an actor, and I've gained a great deal of respect for him just by watching this. Thanks a lot for posting this.
I listened to this interview (all six parts) as I was working this afternoon/evening and I really enjoyed it. It was interesting to hear about Alan Alda's early days as an actor as well as learn more about his days on M*A*S*H - thank you for taking the time out to do the interview and to share it with us.
