Hey this i Juan ... prbably not the one you are looking for but ... This is a 2007 model ... it is also available in another head unit with the IB or "iBus" technology, where it is ipod ready and has the technology buit into the head unit itself.

i got this headunit and its really nice i love it. at night the color is great and the lil graphics on the back is nice touch. i like how when you turn off the car it slides out so you can stash it lol.

Slice? I'm guessing you mean slide, it knda folds down if anything, you have to push it back up after inserting a cd though.

...no, it's a motorized face- it comes out a little bit from the actual player, then the face rotates upward, sliding out of the way of the cd slot. you have to push the eject button again to get it to close, again, which is motorized.

Lots of ways, you can hook up a battery charger to a 12v battery and then just connect the positive and negative wires from the stereo to the terminals on the battery, or you can rig up some sort of adapter to plug into the wall outlet and wire to the stereo.
