When you held up the three clip pieces and noted how the hello gorgeous ones were thinker...well of course they are thicker because there are less pieces of hair then the foxy lock.. foxy locks individual pieces may be thinner then the hello gorgeous individually but when all the pieces are put together foxy locks are thicker.

I have both Hello Gorgeous and Foxy Locks extensions and have had them for a year but have to say that this person hasn't looked after them very well going by what they look like on the video. Both of my sets are in much better condition and I wear them almost every day. I have not had any 'chunks' fall out of my Hello Gorgeous extensions either. I straighten and curl mine too. The key is in how you wash and condition them to keep them looking great and lasting longer.

just a hint, that hair was probably chinese or indian hair, so it was naturally very dark. They had to process that hair to make it blonde so that would make it damaged- hence hold a curl better from being porous too.

I have no idea with extensions, i just know hair. So i don't care which extension gets flamed or what, but yeah. Each sort of extension is from a different persons head, they don't use just one human, so you got to expect some sort of difference even within a company and colour

WARNING!! STAY WELL CLEAR OF FOXYSHIT EXTENSIONS!! i waited 3 weeks for them to arrive and when they did i was really unimpressed, they are so thin on the ends im going to need to cut 3 inchs off them to make them look tidy and the quility is so so so bad! and make sure you weigh them cos a friend told me to do it and when i did they weighd 10g under and thats with the clips on, sorry if i sound so harsh but im so dam FRUSTRATED with them!!!!!!

@uniloveable I exactly know how your feeling, I dont my research on hair extentions, and found foxylock extentions were more reviewed and chosen. I found that their hair tend to fall-out when I brushed the hair, they also ended up breaking. I wore them few times, and felt as I've had them for few years when it was matter of just weeks. The clips were weak, and when I recieved my hair, they felt very smooth but had quite few split ends.

@uniloveable I don't think you should tell everyone to stay away from Foxy Locks just because you didn't like them. A TON of people love those extensions. 3 weeks is not that long of shipping at all! They come from the UK and shipping to other counties is obviously going to take longer considering the thousands of miles the package has to travel and go through customs and companies do get busy (so does mine). Patience should be a friend of yours.

@uniloveable People complain about how long foxylocks takes to get to them but they are based out of the U.K and if you are in a different country like the US then of course it's going to a while and 3 weeks is totally normal ( I ship products all the time to the U.K.) Packages are traveling much farther and take time to go through customs so people should understand that. I don't know why you had such a problem with yours but mine aren't really thin at all and they are great.

@69Cortesz Really, online is the best source. Unless you can learn how to make them, if you have the paitence you can get the supplys at your local wig shop (they tend to have wefts and the like there).

@69Cortesz Do I have hair extensions? No, not currently. I just study them a lot because I need to get some and if I'm gonna shell out that kind of money I'm going to look into the product as much as possible.

HK has some bad reviews but they seem to be with customers who had blonde extensions and because of the bleaching process they end up frizzy.

I think HG is the way to go from everything I've found (price point, thickness, etc) but if I had more money I'd probably go with Luxy extensions.

HG Is known for its thickness... but it will take 2 months or more to have the long hair u wanted? u might have lose your excitement and interest of wearing hair extensions...thats why i chose to order foxylocks!

Ur review is great, I think it was the best I've seen on Foxy Locks extensions. And between those too, I think Foxy Locks is a winner mostly for the fact that they will clip on tightly and will not slide down.

Like @Kaydayla my hair is also very thin, and held in a pony tail no thicker than a man's thumb either and my main concern about clip in extensions is wether they'll show through my hair cause if they do it would be pointless to use them...

I have ordered both foxylocksextensions and hellogorgeous extensions...I have to say that Hellogorgeous extensions are far superior...I agree with you here about the foxylocksextensions being so raged on the end. ...I had to cut a couple of inches off them just to look good...they weren't shiny at all...the hello gorgeous extensions were beautiful...although the clips were not sewn in properly and one fell off after just one wearing....

Alot of these videos have talked about the amazing customer service by shannon, i have emailed her about 8 times in the last two weeks and still have not recived an email back.. :|

And also be careful because alot of these girls-not this one-who review the HG hair have been sent a free set so they can give a good review on youtube...

maybe the foxy locks felt like "straw" becuase it's bleach blonde, and aws processed more. I have the same set and I agree it did feel a bit dry but after washing it and dying it, it's much softer =) But the bottom parts that are thinned out sucks!! I had to cut mine 2 inches

don't forget that both extensions were dyed and brown dye is less damaging than bleaching so it's normal that the brown ones seemed healthier... like the hair doesn't grow the color you receive they just grow a batch of hair in labs and dye it the color you want

Huge chunks of the hair have fallen out, they don't hold curls, and they are very thin! They are the worst quality of extensions and not to mention they tangle soooo easily. I just purchased foxylocksextensions today hope it's a lot better than pro extensions!

@musicmostah As far as HG falling out of your hair I would say that no "IF YOU PROPERLY SECURE THEM" Meaning that it would be more than beneficial if you teased the part you were putting the clips into to give it extra hold strength. My point in the video was merely that you gotta work a little harder with the HG extensions because over all, the hair and the clips in my opinion are more delicate and likely to get old faster than the FL if not properly cared for. Hope it helps :)

wish u had the headkandy extensions to compare with both of those. blonde extensions def need more care than dark colors tho for sure. sulfate free moisture shampoo are an extensions best friend :)

Why did you buy blonde? lol I got blonce extensions from hello gorgeous. They felt great before I washed them. But after I washed them they felt really dry. I'm only going to use conditioner on them from now on. But I'm pretty sure it's because they had to bleach the hair to make it the color I wanted. I haven't really had any pieces fall out like that. One a few strands. Plus hello gorgeous has a wayyy bigger color chart.

I dont know. Foxy locks are great but the thing is that if they are light, they are not going to be as healthy as a darker... because bleaching hair is a strong process and the quality of the hair lows down.. Dying its a different situation... I think it is the reason why you feel foxy locks that way... My hair is light brown but i've got red hair with blond bleached highlights... The hair that is bleached, have a different texture to the hair that is red. Totally...

I have really lots of strands in my hair and it's really light if you compare it with the darkest brown which is my natural hair colour. I'm really really unsure about this all. :(

Great review! I was going to do one comparing these two as well! But I sent my Foxy Locks ones back because the bottom 6 inches were SO thin and Stringy!! I was very disappointed. I got mine from foxy locks, they were color no. 60 (lightest ash blonde) they look and feel like straw. THey bottom 6 inches are like straw and are unwearable. Once they are cut, they will only be like 13-14 inches long! I read all great reviews before buying... I submitted my review and they did not post it on the site,

I guess that is why you only see good reviews! I have had no response to my emails either!
