You don't really need a super computer for newer games. I paid $160 for a 4890 on sale about 7 months ago. Recently bought a brand new rig: i5 750, new motherboard, memory for ~$400. Before that I could still play all my games maxed with a e8400! Just think of all the money you save buying games for CHEAP on steam - PC certainly has it's plus'. I still bust out the console on occassion tho. :)

better than MW2 in graphica may be BUT the gameplay is way better in MW2, I played the BC2 demo, many times I shoot a grenade in front of a guy and he is still living I challange anyone stay playing more than an hour then leave to MW2. MW2 gameplay is epic Dice need to do a little tweaking to the way this game is gonna be played not just the graphics, MW2 engine is the same two old one but who cares if I can enjoy my game, and beside my finger still hurts from the crouch CTRL .

It's actually something that they've fixed. Now bullet damage is 25% higher, but it's still a huge amount of bullets (4-7) needed to kill someone, as opposed to previous BF titles with occasional 1 shot kills of 1942 and Vietnam or 3-4 shot kills of 2 and 2142.

Bad Company 1 was downright stupid with an insane 20 bullets needed to kill someone. Combine that with the poor netcode that game had and you needed a whole magazine to kill someone.

Very well made, the jump from building to building a 0:33 looks more real than any cut scene Ive seen on a game.

Shame that the game doesn't do this video justice. It takes far too long to kill people (demonstrated at multiple points in this video eg at 1:25) and the close up FOV causes eye strain and head aches.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with this game or not, but the guns don't have CoD accuracy, there IS spread, I kill people with 3 round bursts on the demo with the XM8P, so I don't see why you think it takes so long to kill people.

I am familiar with this game, and I believe BC1 had the same [in my opinion] problem.

Yes the XM8 Prototype is quite a good weapon on the demo, but aside from that, all other weapons dont cut it. I mean, if you are starting to talk about spread and accuracy, 1 shots with a high powered sniper to the chest/neck would most certainly bring you down. So why does this game insist on head shots?

In my opinion the amount of bullets needed to bring an enemy down on this game needs to be decreased.

The fact of the matter is, in my opinion, if a few less bullets were needed to kill and enemy it would make the game better and more fun, instead of run and gun, you would be forced to take cover. All I have seen so far are players running at eachother, because at a distance there is no point even trying to shoot someone.

Before you ramble about how games don't reflect real life as much as you think they should, think about functionality. Battlefield Bad Company 2 definitely has the best health and damage system of all first person shooters. If your not happy with what you saw in the video, the full game will have Hardcore Mode where you WILL die from one sniper rifle round.

No radar, no triangle indicator during spotting, and health takes less damage to reach 0.

I play as a medic class normally, which uses the LMGs. They are an insane gun to use but when used like that (IE Fully automatic and not controlled bursts of fire) It is insanely inaccurate weapon. But I destroy people with controlled bursts from the weapon.
