And newt forgot to have himself added to the ballot in his home state. OOPS! Yet, we're supposed to believe that he's responsible enough to be president. Or is it, perhaps, that the people of Virginia know what an asshole he is and refused to sign the petition? He's slipping in the polls big time and now this. Told you so! newt will never be president!
@MrConservativeTalk Such as Medicare Part D, support for socialist housing policies, education bureaucracy, energy subsidies, etc. Before researching, I thought I'd have most disagreements with him on foreign policy, but it's his domestic policies which scare me the most. His foreign policy is decent, but he sounds too progressive in foreign affairs for me.
@MrConservativeTalk After researching Newt Gingrich's positions on the issues, as well as several past statements, I am now ruling out supporting him. His support for the individual mandate, both past and present. His statements and profits from GSE's Freddie and Fannie. His debates with John Kerry in which he was on the left of kerry on green energy and environmentalism. His voting for the dept of education. His profoundly arrogant mannerisms and support of big govt. Continued.....
@WONDOCTORJ I am not going to vote for Obama, he is a left-wing ideologue whose policies have been bad for the nation. Ron Paul is running in part on an anti-american foreign policy, so while I agree with auditing the fed and social libertarianism, his foreign policy views are nuts. Newt is a proven conservative reformer with a bold vision to make this country safer and more prosperous.
@MrConservativeTalk You are an idiot. There is big money to be made with war. The same people who profit from war are the same ones who control the media telling you to "be scared" Most Americans are hip to the scam, except for mental midgets like you. SAVE ME FROM IRAN'S TINY NUKE!!!! I'M SOOO SCARED!!! TAKE MY FREEDOMS! TAKE MY MONEY!! SAVE ME FROM THE TERRORISTS!! LOL PUSSY. RON PAUL 2012 !
omg pull your head out of your ass ,stop just repeating what is played on tv and go somewhere else and get your info. I mean you actually say Newt is a proven conservative , and Ron Paul's foreign policy is anti-American , i fell out of my chair when i saw that and laughed until red faced. I mean get real.
@WONDOCTORJ hes a kike. look at that disgusting nose. he and newt gingrich have one thing in common. there only loyalty is to israel. They both want to send american boys to die for israel. fuck you kike piece of shit. burn.
And He is potentially dangerous! Every Liberal view point I have ever disagreed with, Newt has been for... From carbon credits, to TARP, from raising the debt ceiling, to Lobbying for Special interest, and Big Hedge fund bankers.
I would rather you vote for that empty suite Mitt Romney. Then Newt -The New world order.. Don't do it bro.. ABORT MISSION!!!
@bendoverhereitcomes1 You didn't teach anyone anything, I suggest you look up the facts before just spouting propaganda. Newt Gingrich was a great Speaker; 4.2% unemployment, largest capital gains tax break in history, less spending, welfare reform, and anti-crime legislation. He also has bold solutions to defend our nation and get this economy moving again.
@MrConservativeTalk I looked up the facts and presented them to you. You are the one who ignores them in favor of insisting you are right. You refuse to do any additional research beyond watching Fox News. Newt is a Rockefeller/CFR/Federal Reserve stooge. He's an immoral traitor to the people and a gun grabber. He was a terrible speaker and he's a terrible human being. A vote for him may as well be a vote for obama. His only plans are for his increased wealth and your poverty
@MrConservativeTalk I've given you all the facts already. I won't do it again. As time goes by, you'll look more and more like a fool for blindly following the media's choice. Like I said, here ended the lesson. Either do some research and learn something or wallow in your ignorance. Either way, I have no more time for you.
Before you start on Israel. Which is where you're going to go next. It's estimated that they may have 200 or so nuclear weapons. They also have probably the greatest intelligence network in the world. They're also some of the most tenacious fighters in the world. They don't need our protection. They don't need our interference in their policies. We need to stay out of their way and let them do their thing. If you take the God angle, didn't He promise to protect them?
@bendoverhereitcomes1 The Israelis have our support because they are a crucial ally in a dangerous region. Yes, they are strong and they can defend themselves, but we need to show our support. The Palestinians should not be recognized as legitimate, they are a group of savages whom terrorize innocent people.

Oh, and on the DHS. How are they in their current form necessary? Tell me you think that the TSA is constitutional. Big Sis (and I do mean BIG), is stomping on our fourth amendment rights. The DOJ is stomping on our second amendment rights. Those rights were put into the constitution for a reason. To prevent a tyrannical government from developing! Which is what's happening right now. There's absolutely no reason to strip search the elderly in the airports.
So you think Ron Paul is wrong on a non-interventionist foreign policy? I guess then it would have been ok with you had Great Britain intervened on behalf of the south during the Civil War. No? Tell me what's the difference. Don't countries have a right to their sovereignty? What would you do if the UN or China came here? Oh, it doesn't matter because of 80 million gun owners defending us. They won't be if newt has his way.
@bendoverhereitcomes1 Aside from WWI, we have never fought a war that wasn't necessary (though Vietnam became a mess after a time.) I believe we need a foreign policy consistent with our values; freedom, the rule of law, and capitalism. That is what really matters at the end of the day.
@bendoverhereitcomes1 Aside from WWI, we have never fought a war that wasn't necessary (though Vietnam became a mess after a time.) I believe we need a foreign policy consistent with our values; freedom, the rule of law, and capitalism. That is what really matters at the end of the day.
@MrConservativeTalk Foreign policy consistent with our values.... that's about the most anti-american foreign policy ive ever heard, in that it goes against everything the founding fathers talked about, as well as common sense. Iraqis dont want american values, they hate us. Transforming a civilization is about the most far-left thing imaginable.
@MrConservativeTalk Which is what we attempted in iraq. If you've studied Conservatism, you should know that it preaches that Western Civilization has conflicting values with those of the Middle East and therefore it should never be thrusted upon non-western nations. Russell Kirk, founder of modern American Conservatism.
See above. It is true that the DHS categorization of who a terrorist could be is very broad. In their eyes if you say something against the government, you could be construed as a terrorist. Under the bill, if obama signs it, they can then hold you without trial for however long they wish.
Hey, newt's a member of the CFR too! Wow, and he worked for Rockefeller who funded the CFR. Wow, Rockefeller wanted to defeat Goldwater. I wonder why. Could it be that he might be a stockholder of The Fed and didn't like Goldwater exposing both The Fed and the CFR? And you say newt's not an establishment candidate ;) Seriously dude, it's ok to admit that you're wrong on this one. We give you proof and all you can do is come back by saying he's got big ideas. Read the stuff I showed you.
Sen. Barry Goldwater wrote in his book With No Apologies: "Does it not seem strange to you that these men just happened to be CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) and just happened to be on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, that absolutely controls the money and interest rates of this great country. A privately owned organization ... which has absolutely nothing to do with the United States of America !"
Here's the real scenario. Uninformed Americans fall for his double talk and nominate him. Then Pelosi dumps whatever turd she has on him and obama gets re elected. Wouldn't that be special? Why not just eliminate that chance and put up a candidate who makes sense, tells the truth, and has no dirt to dig? Ron Paul is that guy! It took me about 30 seconds to research the articles I sent you on gun control. Take a little time yourself and look up what newt really is. You'll find he's an ass.
@MrConservativeTalk .... Yea anti American to you is opposing our out of control government spending on senseless wars, and foreign entanglements, and nation building while occupying other country's and creating more enemies -is bankrupting us ..If you know history and economics its a retarded position to take this point in the game.. You represent the status quo.
Those are his big ideas for this country. He's a member of the CFR and a stooge for David Rockefeller. His great ideas masquerade as safety yet invoke tyranny and war. Read before you vote. He's changed his opinion on more than just two issues. Do I have to hunt those up for you too? I will. In addition, personal character and loyalty have everything to do with being president. His wife can't trust him. How can we?
O.K. now look up " gingrich the government should allow terrorist attacks" on youtube. Realize that, according to the DHS, you are a terrorist if you disagree with the government. So, newt says that the FBI could wiretap anybody they thought might be a terrorist and the congress now says that the military can hold them without trial indefinitely and he wants thumb prints for gun purchases and a national registry. Wow, maybe those FEMA camps are real.
@bendoverhereitcomes1 That is not true, the DHS allows law enforcement agencies to communicate to one broader agency. The DHS is one of the few departments of govt. that are necessary.
Want your freedom back? Want to keep your guns legally? Want to get rid of corruption in Washington? Want to get rid of tyranny? Only two candidates have signed the pledge to protect the second amendment. The two are Michelle Bachmann and Ron Paul. Out of those two, only one has consistently voted on the side of the constitution. Ron Paul.
For Newt's gun control Google Georgia Gun Owners Blast Newt Gingrich or Newt Gingrich Stabs Gun Owners in the Back or Gun Owners Take On Newt Gingrich. Read them! Do you really want to surrender your thumb print in order to buy a gun? I heard an interview with a guy who lived in Germany when Hitler took over. One of the first things he did was confiscate everybody's guns. Don't listen to Fox News, Newt sucks on gun control and he's a liar on just about everything else.
@MrConservativeTalk He supported the gun free school zone act which allowed the Virginia Tech massacre, after he became speaker, the NRA gave him a D grade.
@MrConservativeTalk Newt worked for the Nelson Rockefeller campaign in the South during 1964 in an attempt to overthrow Barry Goldwater for the nomination. Newt has never been for smaller government, and he admitted to being a real politick Wilsonian. Wilson=probably the most destructive force in the democratic party in foreign and domestic policy.
Wow, nobody here is old enough to remember how much the eye of newt was hated during the 90's. He can't even be faithful to his wife and family and you expect him to be faithful to 300 million Americans? Nobody researches the candidates and sees how many times he changes his position depending on popularity. Don't you people read? You just want to hand the office of President of the United States from one liar to another. Enjoy the continued war and collapse of the American Economy.
@bendoverhereitcomes1 Newt's campaign is more than just a campaign, its a movement. He is proposing big ideas, and as a result Americans are embracing his big ideas. I know that Newt has changed his mind on 2 key issues, but you'd have to be quite stubborn never to change your mind. Your argument about his personal life is invalid and irrelevant.
Yea he's got a record alright. The pocketed 1.6 million from Freddie Mac to pump the housing scam. How many hundreds of billions has his act of corruption cost the economy?
Guys like Gingrich are just pulling wool over the eyes of people.
Why not Ron Paul? He's never been bought or sold. He understand economics. He's not a corrupt, cheating thief with sh&tty morals. Can you elect someone who isn't a crook or a media promoted stooge for once.
@MrConservativeTalk As a regular American I tend to respond. For instance, I respond to my turds every day. I flush them! I've already done that with newt's big idea turds and the rest of America will too. You may not read much, but some of us do and will expose the truth about this big government, gun grabbing fool.
Newt Gingrich has a ton of baggage, almost as much as Bill Clinton, he'd get destroyed by the Chicago machine that gave us Obama in no time. To beat the unholy alliance of the windy city, you'd need a candidate who is flirting with becoming a living saint. I'm predicting an Obama win minus my first choice splitting his anti-war base and also keeping seniors worried about their benefits from jumping ship, and unfortunately the GOP is addicted to foreign wars.
@joshgosser Newt pressed his first wife to finalize their divorce while she was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery. Following that, he then cheated on his second wife with his current wife. Trying to impeach a president for infidelity while engaging in it yourself will take some explaining. His marital behavior is going to raise a lot of eyebrows among the social conservatives and make it very difficult to gain the votes he will need to carry the Bible belt states.
If Americans can find it in their hearts to forgive Mr. Gingrich for his past sins and some errors of judgment (and there is no one who has not made some of them), then he has what it takes to be a great president, both for America and for the free world. He has said, however, that he cannot make things better on his own, that he will need a great deal of help and input from many other Americans. Mr. Gingrich seems to be the only candidate who truly understands the magnitude of our problems.
If Newt were to be the republican nominee i could vote for him. My only beef with him was that dumb ass "green" commercial he made with BITCH pelosi. Not a fan of the whole global warming BS. Next Newt did embrace Bush's amNASTY BS. Newt is a part of the DC establishment crowd. (yuck) he would cave to dems at times. But he does know how to operate in the DC world so im sure some conservative policy items could get passed.
@computerpurple Newt did the ad with Pelosi to raise awareness about green technology, which is a part of our future. He does not support cap and trade and he wants to abolish the EPA. Newt actually opposed the McCain-Kennedy immigration bill supported by President Bush. Newt did serve in congress for 20 years and he has been in Washington a long time, but he has achieved results there and to me, results matter.
@computerpurple Newt was forced to return a $4.5 million book advance after the House Ethics Committee questioned its appropriateness. The following year, the committee found that he had inappropriately used tax-exempt donations to fund a college course he taught from 1993-1995. In 1997, he was forced to pay a $300,000 fine for his actions, and was barely reelected as speaker of the House. Gingrich stepped down from his position and resigned from the House in 1999.
I like Newt a lot. He's very intelligent and by far would be the best candidate to debate the President. He also has the most experience in dealing with Washington. I'm a little worried he's soft on illegal immigration. I dont want any form of amnesty, i want a fence, drones, everify, and i want to lower the amount of legal immigration permitted each year. Let current immigrants assimilate before allowing millions more in. However, Newt is probably the candidate i agree with most consistently.
@Willredd94 Newt did vote with President Reagan for securing the border and amnesty in 1986, but he has since taken a much tougher stance on the issue, he opposed McCain-Kennedy and has been an advocate for border security and he opposes amnesty.
