I Just started detecting Yesterday. Seeing you at that lot, finding all you found, makes me think about the lot thats being made ready for Something. it looks like it's being plowed for planting. Where I live is Growing, and all the land is being made ready to become ready to build on.

just ran across this video! Great as usual! Do you have any suggestions for coils to avoid? Not sure if there is any production numbers or what to look for to avoid bad coils, but if you have any suggestions, let me know! Mine hopefully will keep working, and knock on wood, have not had any problems as of yet with it, but if there are any bad production dates or models that you know of, let me know!

@ micmoable you are wrong - 1964 = 90% silver and 1965-1970 = 40% silver, read your red book and you will be suprised my friend.

@TreasureFiend Dang! I've been detecting for 26 years and didn't know that from 65-70 was 40% silver-----I thought it was only from 65 to 67-----COOL! GOOD LUCK DETECTING !

Nice finds! That LC looks great. The only 2 I've found were pretty beat up from plows up here in Michigan. That SUCKS about the troubles you're having with the Pro Coil. I'm not familiar with them since I haven't made the leap to an E-trac yet. I'm still swinging an Explorer II with the 10x12 and 6x8 SEF Coils. Hope you are back up and running soon!

Another great video, TreasureFiend. You guys sure do find some good spots to hunt. Too bad about your coil. But you still came home with 3 silvers for your efforts, so still a great hunt. I did a 5-hour hunt in the woods this morning. Dug 30 shotgun shells and only 1 coin - an 1876 Seated quarter. That made it all worth while! HH!

It's rare to find a Large Cent in great shape. Congrats on that and on all your finds! Nice job on all that silver too!! Since your Pro coil bit the dust, now is a great time to think about getting a 10x12 sef butterfly coil. I like it a lot better than my Pro coil. I wish you continued success.
