LOL why is BPA such a huge issue ? sure its a chemical hormone , but i swear i read that there are chemicals found in fishes in the rivers too? isnt that the same water we drink from ? so either way we're ingesting chemicals :) does it matter how we take it though ? (contains high sarcasm, if you didn't catch on lol)
people that buy expensive water bottles are retarded. just reuse any bottles used for many sports drinks. the ones with larger mouth are easier to clean. the supposed concerns about chemical leaking from one use PET plastic bottles are fear mongering generated by bottle companies. only people with too much money to spend, and used to a consumerist culture can buy into such nonsense.
I used to work at REI and I can say that there were a few manufacturers making lids to fit Nalgene. Nalgene seems to be bare bones only really interested in the bottles and containers themselves. Your invention is genius and I would use it myself. I would do some research and contact those other manufacturers that make lids for Nalgenes. My brother has an after market lid for Nalgenes that make the bottle into a Lantern. Consider it and good luck.
I don't understand that last part about it fitting on other bottles. Could you elaborate? And how would I go about purchasing one of these fine inventions?
@oatmeeel i appologize for i am 2 years late but nalgene bottles and similar hard plastic bottles use a standard 62 mm opening for their bottles so it is interchangeable between the 14 and 32 oz bottle
ummm.... i want one of those!!!! what a great idea!!! also..your cute as a button.
