Good video. I was on vacation during hurricane Emily. I was staying in the Yucatan right near where it made landfall. We were not evacuated because our resort was "hurricane safe" lol it was quite the nite.
i got hit in laredo texas which is next to brownville so i was like 4 i remeber that windows shook and i wanted to go to get my dolly so i went under my bed to get it and then my windows broke but i was under my bed and i started to cry i wanted to come out then my mom got me and we called pizza hut XD XD! and they diliverd it in like 2 hours and the storm was still going lol i got free pizza! woot!
I was in Cancun Mexico when Emily hit. It blew out almost all the windows in our hotel. We had to put our matresses over the window and sleep in the bathroom. It was a unique but irritating experience, since it screwed over our whole trip.
I was in Harlingen when Emily hit. We got wind gusts of about 60 mph and about 5 inches of rain. A few branches and trees fell off, but we never lost power (or cable for that matter) at our house.
