this was the best show ive ever been to so far. 4 of my favorite bands playing one venue oh my it was amazing. Gaslight put on an intense show. I was dead after thrice played and I had to keep going for trio and rise against. I can honestly say unless they all tour together again i'll never see a show as good as this one was.

people here really need to stop pissing about who they liked and didn't like in this lineup (frankly i love all four bands) and start giving props for a heartfelt tribute to one of the most sacrosanct songs in all modern music.

Im sorry but Rise Against didnt deserve to headline that tour, Gaslight, THrice and ALkaline Trio are all far far better bands than Rise Against. Rise Against has become such a mediocre band, nothing special, extremely radio-oriented rock with nothing new to offer, theyre forgettable after Siren Song of the Counterculture, thats my opinion, they have ONE formula for songs and thats all they use. Now Rise Against is headlining a tour with Rancid, which is absolutely ridiculous as well.

I think it's your opinion...I have to respect that, BUT Rise Against is...well i don't know whats normal where you live for radio but RA isn't "radio-oriented". You are right if you say that Siren was the best album but actually Rise Against making such beautiful music on the newer albums...except of "Hero Of War"...this is (what you said?) "radio-oriented". But the other songs are at first great punkrock with gorgeous lyrics and a great singer.

I love this, two of my favorite bands collaborating beautifully. And to anyone bashing either or both of these bands, honestly go put on some avenged sevenfold or my chemical romance and leave the lovers of true and genuine soulful music to themselves.

The Gaslight Anthem is the most real band to come out in a very long time.Unlike Rise Against they don't sing about the same thing over and over.I used to be a huge fan of Rise Against but I think they have run out of material.Their latest album was very dissapointing.Also if the Gaslight Anthem is so bad why would the other bands want to tour with them?Well maybe you will realize what good music is one day.But you could probably do better than G.A. huh?

He said something about his own last waltz As you can see from the above comments not everyone in crowd appreciated. I just wish the stag lighting was better. I was very poor for the entire Gaslight Anthem set.

I'm sorry but there was a group of about 35 of us that went to this show and again, we love Thrice, Alkaline and Rise, Gaslight Anthem is terrible, they were the band that didn't deserve to be on the same bill as the 3 that were, thier music is awful. Right or wrong, I am speaking from the people that I went with and all the people that were standing near us and in line that we spoke to, everyone deserves thier big break but clearly, GA will never be big, they suck worse than a boy band.

it does not matter that all of these bands are touring together. they all love eachothers music and are friends. all of this bands come from the same "scene" i just wish it was like it used to be when it didn't matter what kind of bands toured together.

gaslight anthem is amazing as well. how could anyone say otherwise. they are one of the best bands to come around in awhile. thrice fans get over yourselves, and have some respect for other music. i enjoy thrice as well and this doesnt bother me

As I said I actually kinda liked Gaslight Anthem, I just couldn't understand what he was saying and a concert really isn't the best place to get aquainted with a new band, exspecially when you are sick and have a major headache. The thing is that the guys might be having a wonderful time, but in all honesty, when you have a tour this lopsided with three similar bands and one that is majorly different, it kinda wrecks it on the fan side. Thrice kinda takes the rockstar energy out of the place.

Actually, I didn't mind the Anthem, they were new to me so they were at least interesting. This tour is fine if you keep Thrice off of it. The other three bands go together quite nicely.

Little bit of both actually. Hard to judge how good they were really, because I don't like them..but I it was a lot of noise and too much bass. Wasn't mixed as well as the other bands. But maybe that's just their sound...just not for me

I saw this tour in MN and I had to suffer through the trio and Rise against because my friend likes them. It was the most worthless show ever, most thrice fans would be incredibly bored until Thrice plays. Two thumbs down for the tour, Thrice was awesome though.

Music tastes are relative, so it doesn't really matter what I like. Thrice, Jimmy Eat World, U2, Coldplay, Blink-182, Anberlin, Jars of Clay, Jack Johnson, I like lots of different stuff. Blink is definitely the worst in that bunch. But my main beef with this tour is that thrice is NOTHING like any of the other bands, whereas the other three are fairly similar(easy to follow chord progressions and time signatures), so of course most of the audience will be turned off by them.

Those bands might have sucked in MN, just like I thought Thrice sucked in Chicago. But what I will agree with you on was the strange dynamics of the show. The bands didn't seem to go together. I don't think the styles of music work well together...like when Serj Tankian opened for Foo Fighters...why???

I know that promoters want a little variety, but Thrice is experimental, the other bands are just straight up rockers, power chords, power chords, power chords, boring!

if you want to talk about sucking, then the only medium that you can gauge music on is how difficult it is to play considering that music taste is relative. And since Gaslight Anthem, Alkaline Trio, and Rise Against all have very little musical creativity and their songs are VERY easy to play, they would probably be the ones that suck. Other than that it's a matter of taste, poor taste will listen to poor quality music.

lol, I know it's not possible for you to understand what good music is, you won't even admit that I am right that it is way easier to play any of those three bands songs on guitar/bass/drums(if I can do it, then it's easy, and I can). I guess you probably aren't a musician, that would make sense, that would be the only way that you would be able to listen to Rise or the Trio and not be bored outta your skull. Alkaline Trio has some decent lyrics though, that's about it.
