When I first discovered this band (it was with this song) I thought that this was the artist writing a song to his lover. <--That was before I knew that this was a Christian band

That same night during an alter call I was thinking back on alot of things i regretted and didnt like in my life. Right after they played this song, Mike D fell to the ground in tears to the lord. This song is from an album they recorded before they actually had a record deal, Speaking of Silence. So it sounds a little different and no, sadly they do not have this album on itunes. Someone let me know if they find a place where this or their earlier one, Don't Look Back. Cause I really want them. Hopefully that answers some questions!

@emmadbow19 Yes, this is Tenth Ave North. I am the mother of the guy singing it, Drew Middleton, who actually wrote the song. He left the band in 2007 to become a worship leader. He is now in Nashville. I have this CD and Mike D wrote and sang half of the songs there and Drew wrote and sang the other half. Mike and Drew attended Palm Beach Atlantic Univ together at the time Mike D started this band.
I wrote them on FB about wanting to find a copy of this album and they directed me yo 'info'..which never got back to me. Would like to know if you have advice on trying to find it. (Hopefully I can find the other 2 unsigned albums too, but this one is the priority).

I was looking for a different 10th Ave. North song, but something made me cilck this one...and wow. I'm very happy that I did. The lyrics to this song were exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you, God, that you care so much for me that you would take me into your arms, though I don't deserve to be in your presence, let alone in your grasp. You're so amazing. I love you, too.

tenth avenue north is my all time favorite band. i am 13 years old and i love thier music. they sing about REAL love God's love. i don't like any of the disney music because alll they sing about is boyfriend girlfriend stuff. this has real meaning

@anjelbella777 He's the one on the right in the picture. I went to a concert in October and he wasn't there. So I think he probably hasn't been with the band since last fall. They have a new bassist, Reuben (or some spelling of that).
