  • Eeeergh its like watching a press conference by Steve jobs.

  • that is going to be awesome!

  • it is true that Wii is working on the ligaber add-on to the wii remote for the upcoming Star Wars game: The force unleashed this is gonna be exciting with the new physics system and this fake lightsaber, this game is definitely gonna be the game of the year!

i wonder why this thing was not used in the Jedi Academy?

  • is this a garage project, or is there some real company involved? Bottom line: Is this gonna be a big game or "just" an innovative mini kindof thing?

  • yes this is a garage project. he has a ten foot tv and you are asking if this is a garage project. wow.

  • thats a LCD projector, anyone with decent income can afford that. they also have those at a lot of expositions or they couldve just rented it for they day.

think before you insult people next time please

  • Man if this is just a start imagine how it will be lke when they finish it!

  • Michael from joey ?

  • What star wars game is this? Tell me Now!

  • definetly will buy that

  • Hmph. I hope he credited WiiLi.

  • I think the problem that faces the wiimote-to-lightsaber model, is the lack of ability to locate the wiimote in 3D space. Although it has no problem knowing its orientation and motion vector, etc. That would account for it to be in a stationary base location on screen.

  • Ah finally a comment worth discussing! I agree with you to a degree, while its hard to lock down the location in 3D space, it is possible to get acceleration data on each axis. This will allow for relative positioning within the 3D space from the origin, but you'd still have to lock it down so the saber doesn't accelerate off the screen. For instance, I would like to constrain the lightsaber to an invisible cube, say...200 pixels in any direction from the origin x,y,z

  • That guys head is shaped funny , Lol

  • Star Wars Wii! AWESOME! MicroSoft Games and sony ARE DEAD! It's official, call the morgue! XD

  • i know a canadian girl named Artemis

  • maybe he should have checked out wiili beforehand to save himself some time, and not appear to take credit for the wiimote drivers

  • need to do some kind of time averaging to smooth out the light saber movement.

  • I would love to play this.

  • star wars wii yay!
