Thanks for posting as I don't watch this soap opera any more since they decided NOT to let these two get married. Way too many 'interracial' breakups for me, and I'm sick and tired of the Writers using us viewers to boost their ratings, once they start to drop. I knew once they killed off Layla's sis things would drastically change between these two, and what they're doing to Clint and Bo's son is even worse. Some things are a blessing in disguise when it comes to these soaps I guess.

I don't mind the action on the first date. They've known each other for three or four years now. Do your thing, but they treated scene like it was some Jolie shit and that was not cool with me. Cayla has chemistry. And they can really go far with it. Some say it's because now that David is married to Melissa Gallo (ex-Adrianna) that he's taming it down, but he was married or engaged ast least to the child when she was on the show and he was burning up the bed with E. So there are no excuses.

David Fumero works WELL with African-American women, he AND Michael Easton. JoVan was so ON POINT when it came to passion it wasn't even funny and David was PASSIONATE in Crave. He was passionate in this scene too but I would've wanted their first time to be more "loving" than it was. Maybe the writers are having them take it this route because they've been "buds" for the longest, I don't know. I'm hoping they "grow into" their love for each other with marriage & children as the end result!!

Yeah, this was not well done. It's almost as if the writers wanted to get this done and over with...and so did the two actors. Tika is definitely beautiful and is a good actress and while David has always lacked in the acting department he has produced great loves scenes, especially with Renee. So I was expecting a lot more...disappointing.

Some of us Cayla fans were a little surprised that they had them be intimate almost before the first day but they do have a long history and a long attraction to each other so maybe not so surprising at all.. There were editing problems with these scenes though...It has become obvious they are setting them up for possibly 2 big storylines so maybe they wanted them to get closer faster. The 2Cayla days after this one were better in my opinion.

They've been mentioning Evangeline a lot lately but I don't think it's to bring her back I think it has something to do with this new hatecrime storyline.

I didnt' like what she was wearing either, but they often dress her like she's trying to hide her body or something when she actually quite tiny. There seemed to be an editing problem this day like they didn't know what to do with the scenes and even left one out althogether. The next day scenes are better & it became obvious they are working up to a Cayla SL (finally) which may be why they rushed the love scene.

I agree. I love Cayla but hate that they had sex after spending time together at home. To me that was dinner not a date. I was expecting the screne be as hot and steamy as the Vang/Cristian first love scene. BUt what in the hell does she have on. That dress did not flow well in the scene. Moreover, he picked her up like she was to heavy. There must be a little crush going on between the actors because it was a little aukward.  But I am sure it will get better. Maybe it was the way she was holding on to him...it seemed like she was pulling/clinging to him too tightly, which made him off balance. I wish she had worn something more alluring, too but oh well; at least we got to see SOME loving...too bad it wasn't ROMANTIC like Kish had.
