The potential is REALLY really limited by the fact that the player doesn't have multiple cameras. Imagine if we could play this game with rear/side view cameras and the possibility of having to take on enemy mobile suits from multiple spots. Then the designers could amp up the difficulty level.

Yeeaahh, if you want to play a Gundam game that's actually good, try looking up Gundam vs. Gundam NEXT Plus for the PSP. Gundam Extreme VS (the latest Gundam Vs game) just came out in the arcades in Japan. It will probably realease for the PS3 sometime mid/late next year. Look those up if you're a Gundam fan who wants to play the best Gundam games on Earth. If it doesn't have "VS" in the name, it's no good.

I agree with Bryanz09, this game looks a bit lame. I mean, I haven't played it but it looks to slow, I personally like something faced pace. Armored Core 4 I think is a better game then this. Its quick, face paced, and you need quick reflexes to beat the bosses.

i like the Gundam 00 tv series but this game is kinda lame for some reason because the battle in this game is only in either air or space and you can mover very freely here. Gundam Seed Destiny sub series and Gundam vs Gundam PS2/PSP games has better gameplay than this one.

as someone who has modeled a gundam from 00 in 3d max, I can tell you....it's hard. let alone making it movable in a game. It looks simple, but it's very complex to make and animate character, and then program it to move exactly a certain way.

To be honest, this game doesn't look too well made. While it is known that Gundam games are made by generally rookie game developers, I don't see why Bandai, in all their wealth and love for their biggest cash cow, cannot bring it upon themselves to make GOOD looking and playing Gundam games. Good God, it's not that hard. Battlefield Record 0081 was a good example. We could be having something Armored Core esque or Another Century's Episode esque and yet Bandai cannot get this fact,

@Daisagru It's not like Bandai always drops the ball or anything, though. There have been some really well-made, fun Gundam games within the last couple generations. If we're talking just action games, most of the Gundam vs series (Especially Gundam vs Zeta and Gundam vs Gundam and it's variations), Encounters in Space, and 0081 like you mentioned, were all quite good, and then there are the (mostly) excellent G Generation and Giren's Greed games. But it does look like they dropped the ball here

The closest Gundam related game that I saw was A.C.E. 3, where the intro was nearly identical to the intros in Last Raven and AC4, except with different mecha.

FROM SOFTWARE developed both games and should really make a crossover game. The only problem would be customization, defeating the purpose of an Armored Core game.

Buy an AC game and attempt to make gundams from there preferably Last Raven or ACFA.

well this is for PS2 and if you imported it from japan you couldnt play it on a american PS3. As for Xbox not having any gundam games thats unture PS3 and 360 have the same amout of gundam games for each or them. PS3 has Gundam Crossfire and 360 has the one year war while they both have dynasty. Although PS3 can play the PS2 ones they don't really count as being a Ps3 game.
