Manti had an amazingly mature reason as to why he didn't want to go to BYU. He didn't want to go bc a lot of his cousins and family goes there. He would feel too comfortable, as if he didn't leave. Plus, UCLA was only using Roby Toma to get to Manti. Once he signed with ND, UCLA cancelled Roby's scholarship, so fuck the bruins. And stop talking so much shit about Manti and his life. I go to school with him and see how he acts everyday. He is respectful and will do outstanding wherever he goes.

Sources said that he wanted to go to BYU but they botched the recruitment by accusing him of drinking during his recruiting visit and his name getting caught up in the ensuing scandal. (for you who don't know BYU bans alcohol on campus and requires you to report alcohol if you see it.... I'm pretty sure that's right.

they have a good chance. This year, 18 returning starters, USC only returns 2 on D. Next year ND has 17 back with what will be a top 5 recruiting class. They have 2 5-star players already, and WILL get 5* OT Seantrel Henderson whose one of michael floyd's best friends (same HS), and the 5* QB from Washington (WONT go to usc, cuz hed start as a senior, at nd hed start as a sophomore or junior).
Plus Anthony Barr is down to USC, ND, UCLA, i think he goes to ND, cuz of usc's depth at RB.

We ALREADY have 2 5-star players in the '10 clas (Lombard and tht DE).
AND WE WILL get #1OT Seantrel Henderson (so many ND connections at his HS, and he's one of Floyd's best friends). So That's 3, we will most likely get Jake Heaps from Washington, and I think we'll get Anthony Barr.
USC will have the #1 class that year, BUT ND WILL have a top 5-6 class w/o a doubt.

usc is STILL gonna be a great factor. But from what ive read, what his parents have said, and ties to ND...i LOVE ND's chances at landing this kid.
I feel that with Aldridge leaving after this year, Allen and Hughes being seniors Barr's freshman year, and Wood (still think hes more fit as a safety or a slotback) that hell come to ND.
USC will DEF have the number one class, cuz half of the top 50 pretty much are from the west coast. but ND has 2 5-star players (technically 3 w/ Henderson)

Bruton is one of the top safeties, Cum will be a 3rd round pick, Kuntz will be a 5th-6th round pick, lambert will get drafted.
IDK about Turkovich and Brown.
OSU only had a HANDFUL of players drafted last year (cuz they only had 4 seniors start).
