  • Can someone translate it, please? It´s a very nice song.

  • the language used in this song is a blend of kashmiri, pahari, potohari, dogri, gojri, mirpuri and punjabi

  • there are many comments about calling of people from azad kashmir as jungli and illiterate.this is totally wrong perseption.95% of azad kashmir is educated and enrollement is 100% which is second in south asia after srilanka.for british kashmiris,i know what educated, all are druggies and only few have degrees most of them are just difficuiltly passing school compulsory education.i have many relatives in uk all r jst dame duffers

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee this songs i love hadika wow

  • can anyone translate this song to me plz.... i know its not urdu.... i love this song but wanna know the meanings soo badly... thamx :)

  • @sana4518 Its basic says in Pahari keep your busy and happy (playing)...plus smile when your working. Dont say anything bad about anyone. There are high mountains lovely green valleys cool rivers...not that complex but its more a mountain version of Punjabi but unless your from the area you could find the language hard to understand. Any further questions do let me know.

  • @ccustsu THANK u soo much.... :) that was so nice of u :)

  • @sana4518 No worries Sana...glad you enjoy our simple language.. Tariq =0)

  • hadiqa is nice so lovely to fall in love in. she sould convert to christianity then she would be perfect. roman catholic in urdu thats nice.

  • memories!!!!!!!!!!!

  • awsome song.

  • The first Kashmiri language song I LOVE IT JUST LOVE IT.

The song kinda describes people's' life in a Kashmir village. Very Fantastic way of represting our culture.

    Im Missing Kashmir............

  • @fizabibi, how the fuck you can call it kashmiri, it is a dogari language song, dogari language (quite similar to punjabi) is spoken in jammu region of the state Jammu AND Kashmir. Kashmiri language on the other hand is called Kosher and is a dardic language closely related to the shina language spoken in gilgit, chilas and kohistan. Punjabis cannot even understand a single word of Kashmiri language just like shina of gilgit.

  • @gujranwala789 Its not even gojri, its PAHARI language, yes dogri is spoken in jammu but its different from pahari though closer..then there are different dialacts of pahari including Gojri as well..shina is spoken in gilgit and chilas but again in baltistan tibti or balti language is spoke which is closer to chinese,,You are right kosher is pure kashmiri language spoken in kashmir valley.Punjabi is nowhere near this.

  • @qureshi701 that being said, I am a Punjabi (but from the Hindko+Seraiki region) and I understand the song completely :). Whatever the dialect maybe, it has extremely strong semblance to languages spoken in the Punjab region.

  • @qureshi701 pfft. Never mind. I just noticed u said the exact same thing as I, this is def. not Kashmiri, more like Potohari, Pahari or something else :)

  • @xcessdenied Well i think u got my point already, iam a kashmiri from srinagar currently livin in muzaffarabad, yes our kashmiri language is no way near punjabi,on the other hand there are alot of languages spoken in kashmir,,kashmiri in the valley,, dogri/punjabi in jammu,,pahari/gojri in azad kashmir and in the border areas of kashmir,,sheena in gigit and chilas and tibti or balti in baltistan{SAKARDU,LADAKH)

  • @gujranwala789 i have kashmrii friends and i understand some words...

  • @Aloneincrowd2

it's not a Kashmiri song, The song epitomize the culture of kailash

  • people are fucked up these days arguing over a song and what not have some shame

  • i was a KID when diz track came out:)))))))))) brought soooo many memories backkkk thankhs KHala Hadiqa!

  • wot an innocent song.super cool.

  • this is her best video by far :)

  • massege for sheaky420 ur big gandoon if u again spake it words i fac u ok i think u d.nt see a kashmir

  • super daa

  • I have listened to this song million times, but still can"t get enough of it.. The location, language, song, singer, voice, composition and everything else is jus perfect in this song...

  • what a voice. beautiful song.

  • beautiful song sung by hadeeqa

  • Comment removed

  • i like her! she modern but she dont forget the traditional way!

  • I love pakistan's diverse culture; i think the subcontinent on its own is a melting pot..i just wish we all lived peacefully, rather than fighting over whose punjabi and whose pathan,we all realize our true identity: Musalamans and PAkIStanis...I hope the self-realization comes about soon and then we can change Pakistan's path from destruction and dismay to blissful and fruitful AMEEN SUMMA AMEEN

  • im an urdu speaker from khi but i sing this song cuz i love it so much!! i know my pronounciation probably sucks, cuz i dont know what it means or what i'm saying..nevertheless i LOOOVE singing this song because it's such a sweet language like punjabi, sindhi, balochi and pashto :) <3 pakkkisstan all the way =] embrace all languages of pakistan and our people =]

  • i love this song but this is not pure pahari language... and accent is different too...

people from jammu kashmir speak kashur nd from azad kashmir people speak pahari...im from azad kashmir nd my whole family speakzpahari so i can tell this is not pure pahari.. newaiz hadiqa did a good job styll

  • ye toh hamari wali pahari language se milti hai.

kya Pakistan mein bhi aisi language boli jati hai?

  • Hadiqa is from Rawalpindi. In Rawalpindi, some people also speak Pahari but of course the Pahari spoken in Rawalpindi is different from the Pahari spoken in Azad Kashmir, because Rawalpindi Pahari has mixed with Punjabi. Rawalpindi is Punjab and Azad Kashmir is Kashmir. Hadiqa Kiani's son who she adopted after 2005 earthquake is from Azad Kashmir.

  • i live in uk , and we call these people jungli , who belong to azad kashmir and mirpur

because they all illitrate and do illegal things all the time , and even gora people call them jungli

  • wth are u trying to say.. be more specific

wat illigal things and not everyone is the same so how can u just stuff that makes no sense.

azad kashmir is part of kashmir only if u read history u will know but the way u talked shows ur an uneducated person who knows nothing=)

  • shut da fuck up..u white slave, kashmiris are civilized people. 1st generation uk mirpuri may be fucked but has nothin to do with pakistani kashmiris,,watch ur language ass hole..IDIOT.. MISFIT OF SOCIETY

  • @sheaky420 Yes.they are jungalis and still manage to get six seats in the british parliament..it is to their credit that they have competed on such a high level, what about gora peple calling u Paki Bastards?Dont generalize the things, there are individuals who do that..what your national cricket team has done there has made us feel ashmed in the whole world.Keep working hard there as a sincere pakistani.

  • Dont understand what is said, But I know its great, The tune touches the heart

  • i love this song

  • verry nice song hadika is comming in nadia khan show on geo tv monday !!

  • nope the show got postponed i just checked on hadiqas facebook page:(

  • i dont know how it is possible nadia was saying she is comming monday :)

  • THNKU FOR

  • Nice :) Thanks for the info.

  • reminding me of my hometown kashmir........love this vedio :)

  • This is a popular folk song of Himachal and Jammu region where dogri is spoken. In Kangra region of Himachal this is age old song sung in kangri/pahri by girls during wedding and other functions. Kashmiri dress code used in this video is simply a different picturisation.

  • very well sung.

  • beautiful div of pakistan , hadiqa

  • why do people like to argue about different regions and languages

this is a very nice song doesn't matter which particular language.

    welldone hadiqa

  • Very well said :)

  • Except lyrics all girls, costume and scenes look authentic Kashmiri - reminds me of my beautiful valley of Kashmir. Weldone Hadiqa.

  • lyrics are in Hindko

  • The lyrics are not in Hindko. In fact, these are Paharee words - language of Kashmiri people.

  • this song was written by her mother ini

  • Let me correct you, Fairyland92. This song is originally a Kashmiri song. Hadiqa Kiyani hails from Kahuta (Rawalpindi),which is in foothills of Kashmir. As culture travels, the song reached Pakistan. Hadiqa's mother must have fine-tuned the lyrics to give it marketable form. There is no doubt that Hadiqa's voice has enhanced its value to its maximum, basically stemming from her true local accent that closely resembles to that of Kashmiri / Paharee tone. Hats-off to Hadiqa for such performance!

  • Kashmiri people speak kausher language , just search for kashmiri songs and you will understand that the language used in this song is not kashmiri, it is punjabi like language may be dogri from jammu and hill people

  • you nailed it; it is pahari, dogri, i speak it. but she has punjabi accent though..

  • very nice song thanks

  • Just Beautiful, I wish I was living in this kind of place, that is portrayed in this video. GREAT!

  • i can't understand a word lool, but this is soo beautiful:)

  • Good Kashmiri cultural touch by hadika:-)

  • OH YEEAAH this is amaizng stuff kashmiri punjabi shit.

    proud to be lahori kashmiri

  • Comment removed

  • how can u say tht there is nthng like kashmiri punjabi.... this the language of those punjabis who settled down in kashmir and developed a new accent of Punjabi due to local effect.. It is one of the mnay forms of Punjabi only... Punjabi is\was not a small area language in past... it was spread all over North India and Pakistan.... But Fate and Politics brought its demise...

  • Comment removed

  • dude, i have wrttn the lyric of whole song above.... jst see tht it is totally punjabi with slight local accent.... nd the gal in the video is wearing a kashimiri dress... so u can infer that even Kashmiris used to speak punjabi in Their accent... Even the words like "Kanne" was used in Malwa area of Punjab.... this word means "waal" like in "dil ki rakhna kamme Kanne" means "dil rakhna Kam Kaj waal".....

  • wth kanne means WITH

    its not "waal"

  • Here i jst want to say tht today people mite differentiate themselves on the basis of regions but in past thy have same roots tht is Punjab.... Got it...

  • the song is a blend of punjabi of various accents and dialects namely pothohari,lahori/amritsar.

manda nai bolna is classic pothohari

kaaray de kam wich aarrr nai hundi ay(ghar ke kaam arrh (bad) nai hoti) is blend of punjabi and potho. potho and hindku with pahari is same line lingo.

stop fighting. the kashmiri punjabi is potho and hindku mix since the areas touch rawalpindi(potho) and hazara(hindku)

she used a word rabb neen rehmat wataney hundi ha. wataney is a classic potho hindku word.

  • its not a single punjabi. u move 10 km away from pindi city pothohari changes. same is with lahore faisalabad region. stop fighting. even seraiki has words from potho hindku and classic punjabi of lahore and amritsar(indian punjab)

sada kujh kam ha kathna tunmbana means to refine the work and hard work. tunmbana is in seriaki potho and punjabi. lingos change after every 10 km with a new word added.

    enjoy the song.

  • the song is in kashmiri environment since of the instrument the guy is using. plus murree region speak the same pothohari lingo u can call it hindku pahari or punjabi according to ur political aspirations.

  • can u translate that for me

  • excellent!

  • Hadiqaaaa...you ROCK! beautiful culture, beautiful outfits...love them all :)

  • Oh, and for a little more clarity, what's depicted in the video is the lifestyle of the Kalaash tribe that resides above the Sawat and Kaghan Valleys near Hunza. They claim to be descendants of Alexander the Great's army.

  • Whatever the language may be, it's a beautiful tribute to an amazing culture of which so many people know so little. Great video.

  • I don't understand the lyrics of this song, but I have listened to it thousand times it's just fantastic

    you rock Hadiqa

  • luv diz song thanx

  • whooooooo pahariii

  • i think this song is ok

  • it is pahari -a language spoken by mostly azad kashmir and some parts of occupied kashmir! however it sounds slighlty different from pahari!

  • I am from Azad kashmir and this is not what we speak. We do not dress like this either. However people do dress like this in the disputed region of Kashmir. I think it is very unlikely they speak exactly like this.

    Sorry to disappoint you.

  • no body really cares wat u wear or wat u speak or wether u from kashmir or not......all we sayin iz that itz nice song and language in is great...so

  • I was saying this is not paheri.

Did not ask u to attack any ethnic group or any other group.

It is a good song. I'll agree with u on that.

  • Im also from Azad Kashmir and we speak Pahari and this is pahari...diffrent places have slight variations of the language.
