This video is an example of the video guy concentrating on what was happening to his friend who looks like he went in in this video but he did not. He actually got a full canopy inflation with a little air time unlike the photographer who almost ate it. Both were OK I believe the video guy broke his ankle or something of that sort.

its not that he wasn't paying attention. He to open up from his aerial and track but his inertia keep carried him around. Then he tried to arch open and track again but it didn't work. You can then see he pulls his shoot while still in his aerial movement almost causing his death.
